Seems BioWare is still very confident in that we'll be getting more ME games in the future, which is only a good thing.
What I find interesting in the GameSpot's article is what Mark Darrah states: that they have limitless possibilities with the future of Mass Effect, with both Andromeda *and* ME3 as valid starting points for the next game's development.
Hopefully Anthem does well enough in its sales that EA doesn't get any ideas about shutting down BioWare before we can get to see another game released in this brilliant franchise.

So back in late 2017 I played through ME1 and ME2 on insanity, in order to complete the trilogy with my "canon" Shepard after deleting all of my other saves. But after completing ME2, I never got to starting with ME3 and I'm now in the process of playing through ME1 and ME2 again by using New Game+ with the previous saves.
Even though I've played through the trilogy countless times, I can't quite remember how ME2 save imports work in ME3. My question is, if I play through the already existing ME2 save as a NG+ and then start a ME3 playthrough, will the NG+ override the save and the decisions within that career, or will there be two separate careers available when starting ME3 with a ME2 save import?
