Is it a problem if I get and complete some assignments before I get Liara, and why?
No it's not. You can save it until your ready to go and get her. P.S she is on a planet called Therum
Liara doesn't really do much for you on your missions. But you do want to take her on the noveria mission
I knew where she is. This isn't my first time. I hate Therum cause of the lava and the horrid Mako controls.
My mom said the mako I gets better. I'm guessing that you have to have Cerberus accounts for it in the second one. I don't know. And sorry for making it seem like I thought you didn't know where she was.
You can do any N7 or planetary assignment before you rescue her.
Unlike ME2, those 'lesser' assignments have no impact on the primary storyline whatsoever, including the romance plot.
If you want to romance her, lucky you, she only needs 1 priority planet mission after rescuing her, to lock in.
Feros > Noveria > Therum (talk to her after the debriefing) > Virmire (immediatly talk to her after debriefing)
As a side effect, there will be a different, but funny dialog with her, while she is caught in that Prothean Bubble.
If you follow that path, she should ask you, if you like her too before you get called back to the citadel.
If you actually wait a long time to get her she'll actually have different dialogue because of the other missions you completed without her.
@ Kadia1: While you are correct in that it doesn't matter when you get Liara, whaddya mean she doesn't do anything for you on your missions? She does just as much as anyone else. She's the most powerful biotic you can get in your party. That said, unless you are rolling with Liara in your party anyway, there is no need to go out of your way to bring her with you on Noveria. I remember being quite disappointed at how little difference it made the first time I did that. There's an extra line of dialogue with her when you first meet Parasini, and ONE extra line between her and Benezia at the end. That's it. It's not worth changing your lineup over to make room for Liara imo.
What do you think?
