How do I get them both exactly, I've seen a lot of different things and I was sure I did everything right (first Paragon play through) it looked like by what tail and legion where saying that peace was about to go down, but after killing the reaper on rannoch it still just came down to Geth or Quarians. Help us
My exp. Was keeping legion and Tali alive. Then having paragon high enough. When the convo starts pick Tali's side then Legions side. Then a paragon and a renegade option should appear. I went paragon and shep should convince the qurians to not shoot while legion will upload the code.
There are special requirements that can only be done in ME2:
Tali and Legion must both be loyal, and you need enough renegade /paragon points to convince them to settle their little dispute.
Besides that, for a 100% chance of success... Tali must not be exciled and the geth heretics have to be destroyed.... one of these options is a must have.... both together are better..... and.... uhhh... you can be renegade as hell and still prevent Tali's exile.
Both need to survive the SM > import Save File
You need to have at least 4 bars of reputation consisting of neutral, paragon, renegade or a mix of all. After an import and up to this point, there will be enough par/ren to unlock the specific persuade/intimidate option on the dialog wheel.
(I know full neutral is impossible on an imported Char, but you know what I mean)
Beyond your reputation, you need 5 points out of 7 possible as a reward for specific actions. Most of them took place in ME 2:
Do not present the Evidence in Tali's LM (2 pt)
Destroy the Heretics in Legion's LM (2 pt)
Broker peace between Tali and Legion after their missions (only persuade/intimidate option counts) (1 pt)
Completing (1 pt) and saving Admiral Koris (1 pt)
If you screwed in ME2, well replaying the game is always fun.
Otherwise, 4 bars REP and 5 Points from Actions and you are good to go to kick some Reaper a... with the full might of Quarian and Geth combined.
btw..... the wikia link ... (the reputation check window in the lower half is what you are looking for)
^ that is very detailed
Marolf put perfect, very detailed "walk-trough". I want only to point out - The most important thing in ME3 is very, very high Reputation to resolve Quarian-Geth war. Even with full bar of par/ren but not enough - below 4 bars - reputation (and/or wrong choices in ME2), war is impossible to resolve peacefully.
Damnit, I gotta go back to ME2 and destroy the heretics...
i saved the heretics tali wsnt exciled in me3 between quarians and geth first legion then tali and it will appear the options also anyone knows if she doesnt kill herself if u romance her? just to be ready if for some weird reason dont get enough prgon
She maybe loves you but seeing her whole Race getting whiped out crushes her will to live and she will commit suicide, no matter what.
I found that out on this particular 'worst of the worst psychotic' playthrough.
You don't need to destroy the heretics.
You can spare them, then again in Rannoch you need to complete the two secondary missions (you HAVE to rescue the Admiral, not his crew).
Another run of the necesary checks to broker peace:
1. Tali must not be exiled.
2. Take down the heretics || Complete the secondary missions in Rannoch.
3. When they have the confrontation on the Normandy, you must take the Paragon/Renegade check.
This is pretty much it.
I have to check my strategy guide on this every time. There are quite a few things that have to be just so in order to meet the requirements. I think some of them span across all three games too. Definitely worth the trouble though.
This is what I do. I do all the missions on rannoch BEFORE the reaper base. Okay? And then I do all my other missions that admiral Hackett asingned me. Then I check my paragon level it has to be very close to the top! Now helping both of them. First pick legion and Tali will try to call of the fleet and then of course admiral Han Gerrle won't listen so then if you have enough paragon then you can help call off the fleets attack. And you just got both of them on your side. But you did sadly lose a brother in arms.
What do you think?
