Ok so I'm replaying the mass effect trilogy for the millionth time and I'm kinda worried cause the last time I played it Tali died in ME3 and I don't remember what I did wrong. I know I have to make sure both Tali and Legion survive ME2, have both of their loyalties but do I rewrite or destroy the geth heretics in Legions mission? I can never remember. Any help or tips regarding this topic is welcome :)
If I do the renegade option at the end will I still be ok? My Shep is full on renegade
Yes he/she will be fine. But I have never don't it renegade I have only seen YouTube videos about it. So like I said do every single mission before you do the reaper base or you won't be able to do it and your renegade has to be to the last bar.
Ok thank you so much! Now I can stop freaking out 😂
i actually got both paragon and rngade option with a full paragon bar
Yeah it does that you have to have more of one and it gives you both and your welcome
What about the checklist?
There are several "checks" between acquiring Legion in ME2 and the Quarian-Geth showdown in the third game. Five out of seven "positive" checkpoints will get the most diplomatic outcome, after vanquishing the Destroyer-class:
2 - destroy the heretics (Legion's loyalty mission, ME2), even though it's a Renegade choice;
1 - have completed the "Admital Koris" mission prior to this one;
1 - save Admiral Koris during the respective mission in ME3;
2 - prevent Tali's exile (during her loyalty mission in ME2);
1 - choose the Paragon dialogue option during their argument, after Legion's mission in ME2.
There is also a rep. check, for (1) four bars of reputation, (2) Tali and Legion's presence, due to an ME2 import, and (3) the "Geth Fighter Squadrons" mission having been completed prior.
**I always rewrite the heretics (unsure of the ME3 outcome, besides just more Geth to fight; don't know if it's more assets after the cease-fire), but it's Paragon, so…yea. There ya have it..
You can also save the heritics same thing happens I know.
I re-write the heretics in ME2 and I always get Tali to live in ME3. Just make sure you have a high Paragon score, prevented Tali from being exiled in ME2 and save Admiral Koris in ME3, and complete all other Rannoch mission before destroying the Reaper base. Oh and make sure you get to choose the Paragon dialogue option when Legion and Tali are fighting in ME2 (you can't choose a side, get them to be nice to each other).
Rewriting the heretic code gives you a stronger geth fleet in ME3 as a War Asset if you acquire them. I always am able to resolve the conflict between the Geth and Quarians, so i get both.
Not much to add here, except if you want peace you need to do both loyalty missions, meaning you have to destroy the heretics (reduces the geth ems in ME3) or you rewrite them (reduces quarian forces by the same amount). Destroying them will make a peace in ME3 more probable, as the Quarians are more reasonable then due to fewer losses on their side.
You can ensure the peace completely in ME2, depending on your decission and the checklist.
It doesn't matter if you take blue or red. Both lead to the same outcome. Red is just intimidating, blue us persuading. Only the white options force you to choose a side. Legion dies anyway.
Yeah legion will die because he needs to sacrifice himself for the Geth. It was a memorable scean.😢
What do you think?
