I looked at the bioware beacon this morning and noticed that the beta application part was missing, did they cancel the beta?
(Replying to initial post)
I applied for the beta shortly after it first went up. To me, the application being taken down means BioWare is no longer accepting applications and will be deciding who gets to test. It'll likely be last minute server connection tests, even though this will be at much lower yield that what release will be like on the server. My guess is that they have already planned thay, probably using only a estimated proportion of the servers and get an idea about what to expect. If it is still a go, the testers shouldn't find any bugs (they've spent the majority of the past several months polishing, so it should be nicely low on bugs). I check at least once a day for an update on BioWare Beacon, and I'll be posting onto this discussion board when I see something new, of someone hasn't done it already. If it comes to release and still the same old web page, then I have no idea, but I think the beta will still be a thing.
That makes a lot of sense
I just found this: pushsquare.com/news/2017/02/mass_effect_andromeda_beta_registration_closed_well_hear_more_soon. It's really short, but seems to imply that the beta is still a thing. Here's hoping that it is!
Oh my god you sir are a life saver, I thought all was over
No problem! I was just as curious when I read your post. Hopefully we'll have something official soon.
Pass the time by replaying the trilogy.
Good morning to all
What do you think?
