This discussion is simply about going down memory lane by visiting all the things the original trilogy gave that we loved above all else like characters, weapons, moments, and everything else.
The time when Tali basically fell apart at her exile trial when the Admirals told her that her father probably died on the Alrei. And then when she saw her dead father and you had the chance to console her and give her a hug even when you didn't romance her.
Maybe when she returned to the Normady and said, if you romanced her, "still totally worth it". Ahh the memories.
My favourite scene is when you push the eclipse merc off to top of a building after he tells you he has nothing to say to you and then Shepard says like a badass "How about goodbye"
It's all about Garrus for me. I have all the DLC's and so I had all the companions. If I were to play it through one more time, it would do it for him. My FemShep romanced Kaiden for one playthrough.. Ugh. So Lame.
That said, Wrex kept my laughing my butt off in ME 1. The events in the Archives in the Citadel DLC in ME 3 were pretty good if you had him fighting with you. "They have a Krogan! Why don't WE have a Krogan?!?"
Anyone remember that story Wrex told us about him and a asari having it out for a few days in ME1? That was the first time the series made me laugh.
Wrex in the first game... he was a great companion who i loved to hell back in the day
I loved the reveal on Archangel. The first time I played ME2, I about went through the roof when he pulled his helmet off and it was Garrus! I think my neighbors heard me squealing.
And Tali. Tali is so damn cute. "It's fun watching you shout." Heehee.
But Thane remains my very favorite character. He's a fascinating character with a harrowing backstory. And the letter you get after he dies if you romanced him... I cried all night.
As far as weapons go, the Widow and Black Widow sniper rifles are my favorites in 2 and 3. For ME1, the Spectre sniper rifle with high explosive ammo was the best--the sheer destructive power was well worth the long cool downs between shots.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I get a lot of good use out of the Locust SMG. Not a whole lot of damage per bullet, but man, can that thing put a lot of fire downrange. Put disruptor ammo on that thing, and you just rip apart shields like they're tissue paper. Then the Widow works its magic!
The Vindicator in ME2 with Advanced Shredder Ammo took down everything organic in 2-4 bursts
What do you think?
