The heck are you talking about? The game looks beutiful! At least on pc on ultra settings...
I think the main problem people are having with visuals is facial animation, or rather the lack of it.
Realistically, BioWare aren't all that far ahead of Bethesda in terms of facial animation anyway, so I honestly didn't expect that part to be amazing anyway. I'm no doctor, but I don't think I have to be to prescribe one stick removal out of the rectal cavity for gamers who are so fussy over such small m matters.
CD Projekt Red pulled it off with Witcher 3. You mean to tell me EA and BioWare can't jump on that train? Don't get me wrong please... I freaking love Mass Effect. Just bothers me these guys can't get the facial stuff down. Its 2017 for crying out loud! Lol
And I don't think facial expressions on today's characters would be considered a small matter. A glitch in the grass. That's a small matter.
I swear, CD Projekt Red made a deal with Satan to produce a game of that standard with what funding they actually had. MEA had introduced so much new stuff into the series that it wouldn't surprise me if they've been focusing on that rather than animation, which is evidenced by the original trilogy they aren't great at anyway. At least that's what I'd like to think. Doesn't bother me that much, I'm just looking forward to the new combat and immersing myself in more alien culture, and by "alien culture" I mean Asari tiddies… hey, the game was rated for full nudity, maybe that's where all the animating funding went!
Lmao! Good point Brandon. I swear Im not bashing ME. Please don't think that. As a fan I just wish they would have worked on it a bit more. But its mostly humans. I think the Alien animations are strong. I just watched a side by side comparison earlier of the original ME and Andromeda. The facial animations were exactly the same. Their mouth was the only movement. The worlds you play in look wonderful. I am curious if you get to explore the entire planet or just a certain section they allow? Any idea?
As far as CD Projekt. Idc that game was a masterpiece. Best Ive played to date. They had that nvidia technology on their side and it looked sweet.
I mean a 43GB download if its well optimized is MASSive.
I haven't actually played the trial, but considering the game is Exploration rather than Open-World, I imagine planets will be made up of their main hubs, numerous points of interest, and some beautiful scenery in between, like ME1 but less… Mako-y. Entire planets is probably still too much to hope for at present, but they may also station some interesting anomalies around a planet's orbit, which still provides something interesting to look out for.
Well put. Can't wait to try it!
I would rather have a few pointed spots that look like they had a lot of effort put into then a bunch of locations that look like, well, look like crap.
What do you think?
