For the TL;DR crowd it should appear under Milky Way in Research
Hmmmmmmm gonna try.
Thx 4 sharing.
Looks good, sounds ok. Decent clip size. Low damage though. Might make a good augment weapon.
But have to Research it fresh, not a free research item like Avenger, Raptor etc. Which is a bit shit, my NG+ has bugger all Milky Way atm coz i spent it on the Piranha to make my PirasmaStorm
Remember Plasma Charge Augmentation turns any weapon mode into semiautomatic.
The only useful Combos so far are are Talon follieed by Piranha.
Just tested the Ghost and compared it to the other automatic AR.
As it is not charged like the Cyclone, has no burst fire mode and is lighter then Soned or Revenant, the only viable comparision can be made with PAW and Thokin. It outperformes the Avenger in every aspect, so we can skip this too.
The PAW lacks range and dmg, loosing against Ghost and Thokin.
The Ghost has roughly 12 percent less dmg then the Thokin and the Thokin has a 25 percent higher ROF compared to the Ghost. So far the Thokin is still superior. Plus the Ghost only has a maximum of 3 mod slots, which is wierd as it is classified as rare.
But its plasma bolts are slower then the kinetic bullets of the Ghost.
The Ghost is almost 40 percent lighter then the Thokin.
Suprisingly, the crosshair of the Ghost gets smaller the longer you hold the trigger, increasing its accuracy instead of the spread.
Biggest downside of the Thokin is the small clipsize. The Ghost's is almost 4 times larger.
Reducing downtime spending on reload, the dps Ghost is higher then the Thokins.
All around I rank it 1st of full auto Assault Rifles.
No profile, melee 5 kinetic coils, unmodded Rifle
Ghost VIII 73, Thokin VIII 81
Ghost 600, Thokin 750
Ghost 109, Thokin 29
Ghost 10, Thokin 14, AR weight reduction passive ability applies
Soldier and Explorer profiles show significant higher dmg stats plus increased clipsize on the Soldier.
Ghost is superior in the field on midrange, as I downed a Fiend on Insanity in under 80 shots, no conumables or powers . The Thokin needed only 70 shots but had to reload twice. If full auto is your style, Ghost us your weapon of choice. Perfect candidate for Vintage Heat sink too, combined with a clip mod you still above 100 shots per clip letting you handle any situation.
Great work man. I was only able to Research on my ps4 character and shes lvl44, so Rank VI gear. And playing on Normal.
Since could only install 3 augments, went Seeking Plasma + 35% weapon dmg in hover (grinding for that trophy too) + kinetic coil. Obviously the hover augment was simply for trophy sake. But it makes for a great flushing gun. Jump, hover, spray seeking plasma over cover, flushes enemies out real well.
With a thermal clip mod i have a 125round clip, and i love this thing. Destroys at low difficulty. Didnt think to try the charged shot. Gonna mess with it more and try different combos. My favourite assault rifle now for fun, Sandstorm is my favourite overall on PC coz it hits so hard, but the fire rate is very slow and playing with a console and controller is bit harder for me coz the Sandstorm has a default low zoom scope. Prefer mouse+keyboard.
Right now I am on Drone Commander playthrough, Turret, Zap and Energy Drain. Its a great Backup and I can wear it alongside a Black Widow and the weight capacity passive from Tech tree without power recharge penalty.
Funny thing, N7 Valiant and Sandstorm are almost on par at every stat, and recoil, except damage. Here the N7 is twice the Sandstorm plus it is ultra rare, rendering the Sandstorm almost redundant if not for the looks on insanity where dmg really matters.
Speaking of which, your frag grenade deals 1000 base damage, while Liam's crushes tissue paper with whopping 168 damage. And he is not alone. So Sqaddies are really just for decoy, prime or detonate.
Or for getting in your way. Or stealing your kills when grinding for certain trophies.
I really wish there was an option to go lone wolf in some situations
Dismantling the X5 makes you lose all materials and augments equiped on it
Oh true? They definitely don't return to inventory? That sucks if true. Apparently there was a patch this morning (or tonight depending where you are globally) did that maybe fix it?
What do you think?
