Except it wasn't a one on one fight. He distracted her while and goon squad shot her. If that's how it's going to end. Then just pay one of her own lackeys to put her in the ground. Instead of setting it up so that the plan hinges on Sloane bring back up or not .
Hey, Sloane told me to stay out of Kadara's business because it wasn't my 'turf', so that's what I did. It's not my fault if Reyes was more prepared for the showdown than she was.
If they were going to force the Pathfinder to be involved. Then instead of the option to push Sloane out of sniping range. Maybe it should have been set up different. Such as having betray Sloane to save Reyes.
As it is right now unless you actually want to save her. Our involvement is completely unnecessary. Although it amuses me slightly. In one scene depending on if you flirted with Reyes before. The options for the whiskey heist are a punch or a kiss. Then we fast forward a couple of scenes and now there's an option to shoot him. Tragic romance much ?
There's apparently at least one in every Bioware game.
Haha, well, I liked to flirt with him but settled for Jaal in the end. It's incredibly cute when Jaal calls you "darling one". It's old-fashioned and not a pet name, Scott would have picked for himself but for Jaal, it totally works because he is so sencere.
I learned that from Jade Empire. When you have a final showdown with your master. There's two options fight him or let him kill you. Obviously the second option destroys any relationship going on.
Judith I like Jaal too he's curious about the other cultures from the milky way. Though the comment about taking Sam apart scares me.
Though i think Reyes has the cheesiest pick up lines. When Reyes asks the bartender for information. During the conversation she gags slightly at the cheesey dialogue. Before shouting "get a room you two". I made me laugh
I thought they missed out on the fun they could have had with Romancing Bain Massani and the pet name "Little Duck".
Isn't that Zaeed's kid?
Okay i am totally about to pull an exit stage left on the dragon age fandom.
These people are rude. It apparent they take fictional pairings too seriously. Half the posts I just read escalated quickly into heaps of trash fires.
That's Andronomda for you.
Reyes used Sloane’s arrogance against her. He knew she’d agree to meet one-on-one. He knew she had gone out with minimal accompaniment before to deal with threats to her image (the kett cleanup comes to mind), and would do so again. He also knew she’d bring backup. Her mistake was in making Ryder that backup and assuming the Pathfinder was a stupid kid who would take her assessment of the situation at face value.
A rapid recalculation of the scenario happened the moment Reyes revealed himself as the Charlatan. That was also a blatant signal of his trust in Ryder. I knew what was about to happen the moment Reyes showed his face, knew Sloane was finished whether she yet realized it or not. All I had to do was let events unfold without my interference.
I was completely okay with Kadara cleaning up its own mess.
