Wondered if Shep was becoming indoctrinated even before I knew that was a thing. You're right it's a vulnerable moment. Prefer not talking about it, say with a prying Laura. Although my Sheps have equal parts renegade and paragon, always enjoy assembling crew each time and always enjoy their company, while most often being celibate & saving life as we know it. Yes, my Sheps have had romances & encounters (Consort anyone? Way better than dating subordinates IMO) in some run throughs but mostly soak in commanding & seeing people grow through the arc of their character, way more than romance. Remember when my Shep started opening up, touchy-feely like, had to laugh & say pull yourself together. OTT. Skip romancing Ashley BTW. She does a lot of mute standing around IMO. Do like how main character has genuine nobility that shines through and holds up with repeated play. Always try something different along the way, but this remains a constant. Good writing maybe. Normandy 2 is always WAY too empty at start of Episode Three for my Shep.
