Mass effect 2 has the worst; levels are too small. mass effect 3 has the best wards but mass effect 1 has this beautiful atmosphere and refreshingly big areas. also both wards and presidium looks aesthetic in the first game.

Agreed. It’s something about atmosphere I can’t explain in the first game that I like best. Me2 and Me3 are just closed floors I can’t even remember

I wish they would have explained the ward tning better. In mass effect 1 you had the area listed as wards and the presidium. The wards seperated into upper and lower wards. Which was were C-sec and the scummy organizations were located.

The last to games take you to Zakera ward. Which goes through multiple redesigns. In one game it's by the gift shops, in the next game its by the embassies.

The mass effect 1 layout is better.

I liked 2 because, to me, it just felt like there was more too it. like it felt bigger to me
