I think that the next game, which we got a teaser for earlier today, will take place between 1 and 2 since it looked like Liara gathering Sheps gear from the SR-1 crash site
Edit: not earlier today, just me and my YouTube feed being silly

the ext games been confirmed as 4 and liara is still the shadow broker so its post 2
You didn't notice the Reaper corpses in that teaser trailer? It's post-ME3, and there's some evidence suggesting that it's also a sequel to Andromeda.
I did not in fact notice those
I'd come across an article that theorized possibilities on how the Milky Way species won't stay separated for much longer, but I for the life of me can't find it. It's frustrating.
Think about it, though- the Milky Way has triumphed over the Reapers. Over the course of galactic rebuilding efforts, the secrets of mass relays are unlocked. Since Primus knows where the Nexus is, the Initiative must race to build a relay while the Citadel community builds its match.
I digress, I'll link the article if I can find it.
*hust*.... with the Reapers defeated.... gaining access to their knowledge is possible. Thus gaining access on how to build a Relay and Reaper FTL drives too.
Reapers were a lot faster then regular spacecraft..... around 36 ly/d vs. 11,3 ly a day.
That means it would only take around 200 years with an ODSY Reaper based FTL drive core to reach Andromeda from the Milky Way.
And reaching it they have to, as they need to construct the 2nd Relay in Andromeda to set up the connection in the first place.
As 600 years have passed during the events of ME:A, someone somehow must have found a working QEC linked to the AI by now, to transmit the Relay blueprints.
As there is no such thing in ME:A, there needs to be another way to get the Relay blueprints to Heleus (Liara maybe).
Yeah that'd probably take something like an arrival beacon letting the Citadel community know
The Milky Way would just be vibing until then, and they'd give instructions the same channel they received the arrival ping
I... I actually like ME:A
So do I!
We're just trying to figure out what bringing the two galaxies together would entail.
If you look besides technical difficulties and some weak writing here and there, ME:A is a fun game to play and to explore.
I always enjoy the 2 'funny moments' vids on YT from JJDani. They sum up the in my opinion really good voice acting of the main cast and the overall more humorous atmosphere of the game quite well.
What do you think?
