If 500 Krogan warriors took on 500 Brutes from the Halo Universe who would come out on top?

Which brutes?

For this thread, we will be using the Halo Reach brutes. This means the average brute is unshielded but the Chieftains and War Chieftains have personal shields.

Physical Attributes:

Brutes-

• Are stronger than Krogan

• Are larger than Krogan

Krogan-

• They have more impressive healing abilities for their size

• Have durable armor and better weapons than most brutes

Weapons:

Brutes-

• 155 have spikers

• 105 have brute maulers (pistol shot guns)

• 105 have brute shots

• 105 have carbines

• 10 are brute chieftains with gravity hammers

• 10 are brute chieftains with plasma cannons

• 10 are brute chieftains with fuel rod guns

• They all have two spike grenades

Krogan-

• 300 have assault rifles

• 200 have shot guns

• All of them have the carnage ability

Military Classifications:

Brutes-

• There are 105 brute captains

• There are 30 brute chieftains

Krogan-

• There are 105 Krogan purebloods (they automatically heal after they are shot down like in Mass Effect 1 and will get up at least one more time after they fall)

• There are 30 Krogan Warlords (barriers, personal shields, and armor) plus the warlords have biotics.

I have a funny feeling the regular brutes will actually get gunned down by the Krogan, they are easier targets to hit and don't seem to be as good as marksmen. Rushing and brawling in close range won't help as much as the Krogan have the carnage ability and many use shot guns.

But as soon as the Brute Chieftains join the fight they are going to kill tons of Krogan. Especially the ones with fuel rod cannons and the hammer chieftains. The chieftains with plasma turrets would immediately gun multiple Krogan down but they would quickly get smacked by carnage blasts and would get outworked by Krogan warriors who would flank them and fire from multiple angles. Out of the two, I think the Krogan actually have better tactics.

It will be a very close fight, but I think the Krogan will be off to a good start and somehow win this.

There’s many reason why krogans win I’ve actually had this debate before one could say well mass effects shields wouldn’t protect them against their weaponry proved false thanks to andromeda. Size could be even depends strength i give to krogan healing factor not using in game logic makes the krogan near impossible to kill

I would rather say that krogan are tuff people. The can take a hit, but strength i give to Halo. In the books it's explained that krogan have some kind of heal factor. What makes them nearly impossible to kill. So i think krogan wins, simply because they are more durable.

Come on, Grunt can take them all on. Just have to make sure he have "Something to eat" after the fight.
