It's been a few years since I last played the trilogy, and I honestly can't remember anti-biotic bigotry.

Just, like, a mission where suffering biotics didn't get the medical care they wanted.

So that probably speaks well to your point, since I don't even remember it existing

@RichardPercivalWriter i forget it everytime, only remember when i replay the parts where this gets mentioned, Cora talks about this in Andromeda but it also feels the same way there.

Could've been something interesting in my opinion, i wish they had developed it more or maybe it's more common or Earth and not much in the Citadel and other places that have a large number of alien species.

We know that turians are prejudiced against their biotics but for humans, yeah, I think it was mostly about their potential health issues.

Seeing as I had recently played all the ME games this is still fresh to me. I remember hearing from Kaiden some suspect origins for some humans who gained biotics. On how some must've been purposefully exposed to substances to see if they develope biotics. Basically intentional exposure maybe. Ezos I think or something. And the mission where Hacket(I think it was him) tells us to assist in an operation in dealing with some cultists(whom are mostly just misdirected and desperate people) and rogue biotics whom feel misplaced in society.

But other than that I don't remember people with biotics being mentioned except for exclusive situations/missions based on biotics.

I did feel like they could go into depth more about the biotic situation more though. I love internal struggles and politics because it makes it more relatable to real life political or social issues that are still present fairly heavily in the 21st century.

@Dekay Nihilus yeah, that's pretty much it, i was playing the mission with the biotic cultists yesterday and that made me think of this because everytime i did that mission it made me feel like the biotic prejudice the cultists mention if you talk to them doesn't really exist outside of that and other missions related to biotics like that one where they kidnap a guy that is a chairman i believe.

@Kiadony idk, everytime it gets brought up it's about how they're mistreated or that people think they're freaks.

I 100% agree, I noticed this as well. We're told several times that human biotics face a lot of discrimination from other humans but we're never shown it.

It exists purely theoretically it's mentioned more than once, both Kaidan and Cora bring it up and it's mentioned in a few other places as well but we never actually see a single example of someone acting bigoted or prejudiced again biotics, we're just told that it happens.

It's really weird and I'm glad I'm not the only person to think so.

@LoriasGS yesssss, exactly, there's other examples of prejudice in the series like Cerberus not liking aliens, Batarians not like Humans, Krogans not liking Salarians and Turians so on and so forth, you can feel those in pretty much every interaction between these species, but when it comes to biotics it feels like it doesn't really exist despite it being brought up multiple times, it's not a big deal to me but i think it would've been pretty interesting to have situations that involved this.

The games are in a military setting where biotics are valued more than they are in civilian life.

@Sungrey but we spend a lot of time in civilian areas like the Citadel, Omega, etc. There are ways to showcase that prejudice without direct contact.
