Either Wrex or Grunt imo, Wrex is way more experienced, but Grunt isn't called perfect Krogan for no reason, maybe Eve is super skilled and strong but we have no info about that besides the fact that she at least knows how to take care of herself, Drack is just an above average Krogan imo but with a lot of experience, unfortunely for him that experience cost his body a lot so no way he can go against Grunt or Wrex, maybe not even Eve.
If we're going from a cultural standpoint, Bakara wins. It wouldn't even be a matter of combat; a Shaman and the female leader of Clan Urdnot as she ushers the entire krogan people into a world where the genophage is cured? She'll be deified.
If we go based on combat, I'd personally go with Wrex > Drack > Grunt.
The thing about Grunt is that he was engineered to be the perfect krogan according to Okeer, but that's a/ Okeer's personal opinion on what constitutes the perfect krogan and b/ not an objective truth. The fact is that while Grunt has all of this social programming and memories in his head, very little of it is his. Very little of it is from practical experience and the application of war, tactics, etc. He's not stupid, far from it, but he's genuine inexperienced and you can't guarantee that he'll be able to appropriately apply what's been imprinted upon him.
Drack has likely lived longer than Wrex, and might have an overall greater store of combat experience, but he's also older, and he has a number of prosthetics that I think give Wrex an edge from a physical standpoint. Wrex is also a krogan battlemaster - something neither Grunt nor Drack will ever be - and he's obviously a brilliant enough tactician to have begun the process of uniting the clans centuries before the events of the trilogy, and then again after the events of ME1. I'd argue that he's even shown strength enough that he had people remain loyal to him between Jarrod's betrayal and Wrex's return to Tuchanka after the fight with Saren -- we know that they exist in a worldstate where Wrex is dead and Uvenk dies, because Uvenk brags about squashing the reformists and making Wrex's friends 'his.'
It's hard to say for sure who might be physically strongest, pound for pound. But I'd lean toward Wrex or Grunt -- Grunt is still an adolescent in the trilogy, Wrex is probably still in his prime, and Drack is ancient.
You got good points, i think from pure experience Drack is the one who has most experience, and honestly how holy the krogans in Andromeda talked about him, i first thought that he was a shaman. He could be, but that in the stars. Grunt is not experienced like you said, he has a personality of a Krogan and even then he didn't even understood what it means to be a krogan. Wrex is has two big Advantages first his biotics and the fact that he is a battle master. Second he is old enough to outsmart Grunt and still to much in his prime for Dreck to even have a chance. And besides Drack is nearly done with live, His prostheses are so done. He even said he has constantly pain but got use to it. But i still think that Drack is quite tuff if you compare him to other krogan of his age. He is nearly over 1000 years old, Dreck around 700-800 years and Grunt i think 3-4 years.
Even with all his experience i don't think Drack beats Grunt based on him beating the modified Rachni in ME3, there like 3 or 4 Ravagers, those things are deadly as hell and they weren't alone, i don't think there are many Krogan who could pull that off, imo the only other who could is Wrex, even if Drack manages to have the upper hand on a fight against Grunt and hit him more, he doesn't have the body to tough it out longer than Grunt.
@Shadow Freddy 544 - I honestly kinda assumed that the veneration given to Drack is a/ because he remembers a world before the genophage but also b/ his relationship with the warlord Shiagur. We know he has the brand to prove he's descended from her, and I always assumed he was closely related - maybe not her son, but a grandson or something.
Drack is canonically at least 1,400 years old, and from context clues as someone who remembers a krogan society before the genophage, it's inferred that he's more than 1,476 years old. Honestly, probably closer to 1,500. Wrex, all we know is that he's probably older than 700 years. Grunt is, like, 1-2 years old in ME3 lol
@Zjay47 - I think I'd agree that Grunt's body could withstand more damage than Drack's at this point in Drack's life, if we're just talking pound for pound or close-contact combat. But if it comes down to a battle of tactics, I think Drack definitely has an edge on Grunt.
@Sandetiger i agree to some extent, i believe there are situations in which Drack would be able to outsmart Grunt, but i also believe that even in situations more based on tactics Grunt would be able to survive many by tanking damage until he can take Drack out, while i believe Grunt would win in most scenarios he faces Dracki don't think it's a win everytime for Grunt, would say it's something like 70/30
I just try to get my head around why Grunt is a so much different beside the obvious fact that he got bred. I mean yeah we saw how strong he is in Mass effect 3 as he Easley picks up the rachni and throws them around. But i expected more than just a super krogan. The way he was talked about in mass effect 2.
^The thing with Grunt you've got to remember is he's basically still a child, his loyalty mission involves him going through puberty. He's not even an adult yet but is as strong or stronger than most adult Krogan, by the time he's Wrex's age he's gonna be far stronger than Wrex ever was.
Drack's age is his main weakness but also a testament to his strength, how many other Krogan have made it to that age and are still this strong, take Patriarch from Omega for example, he claims to remember the rebellions so he'd be a similar age to Drack but he's not much of a fighter anymore.
Wrex is definitely the strongest but I'm not sure out of Drack and Grunt, one hasn't reached his prime yet and one's well past it. I don't think it would be an easy fight either way but I think Drack would probably take it.
Yeah but i guess wrex is the strongest because he is a battle master.
Patriarch isn't necessarily a good example to draw from here, as he's been effectively neutered by Aria for centuries by the time we meet him. If he'd been maintaining his body and battle skills over the centuries since, he'd likely be a different person. The only other krogan I can really think of that we see that's ancient AND decrepit is the older merchant in New Tuchanka, who claimed to have been awake for the entire 600+ year journey. 600 years of sitting around on a ship doing nothing probably didn't do wonders for one's battle ability or physical fitness.
I do think the trump card here is that Wrex can pull out his biotics if he needs to. He's clearly adept enough to go toe to toe with an Aleena in a battle of cat and mouse, the asari of whom was probably at one point a commando, and given the nutrient hump on his back, I'd wager he could go a long time with biotics before running out of energy.
What do you think?
