I doubt the council would still exist at all. Everyone on the Citadel was slaughtered when the reapers took it to Earth and word may have gotten out about it being created by them. That would probably scare most people away from forever and there’s no way it would be trusted as a center of government.

@Tyboz9 you remember that liara said in the newset trailer from last N7 day that the "council" will be furious. So i guess there is still a council.

I forgot that detail. The galaxy needs some form of government to coexist otherwise everyone is left to fend for themselves and We saw how well that went. Most people would be scared of the Citadel but then again it is a great place to house a galatic government since it is technically neutral ground and People were scared of mass relays another reaper creation.

In short: People are always scared of something.

@Lethal blade00 i think there will be a council, it will just include some more Species like Quarians, Volus and elcor. Because i think that through Shepards actions, by uniting a galaxy most species will acknowledge the fact that we need each other. So i guess the council will have even more power in the end. But there are still big questions, how will the new location of the citadel affect the other species? Will they hold together after Shepards death? Isn't there a power vacuum? Why should the council get furious with Liara?

@Lethal blade00 yeah pretty much, but i still think about one thing. How will liars piss the council off? I mean, what possibility are there?

And Vorcha are still to reckless to stupid to even get a proper leader. Batarians are just out of option, simply because there are just a handful left.

I can picture the msot obvious issue would be the Krogans having some issues with the other races since thats a common theme in other inter galactic politics. Idk if they ever tore down that Krogan Statue of the person who helped lead the war against the Rachni. I think they chose to leave it up but idk if it went away after ME2. Or ME3 after Cerberus attacked

I think the statue is replaced by the one who help save the galaxy from the reapers among other statues I think of like people who played a big part in winning the Reaper war.

I'm working on that post of the political condition, just wanna take my time because it's a big topic. But Shepard has made peace between krogan and turians, so these to are friendly. Depends on if wrex and the speaker for Palaven is still alive. But for the other council races i think is all good. But who knows maybe Shepard was the only one who held them together?
