I wished SR2 had a bit of customization in ME3. I understand the Alliance would want to do things their way, but there was no need to remove the armory from Deck 2. Also, I disliked how they gutted Mordin's Lab. Still, I was happy the crew moved around the ship between missions (and not just in cutscenes).
@An Unnamed Primarch So the science lab was moved to the med bay, I guess. The armory is in the shuttle bay or where the Mako was in me1. It's alliance standards on their ships.
In me1, you can change the partys' equipment there. Also the quarter master; the guy you buy/sell on the Normandy; has a desk with guns on top of it.
Only thing I hate about Alliance SR-2, why in the living snot put that barrier on the ship? That’s so annoying!
The Alliance SR2 felt the most grand and advanced(obviously advanced) feeling like you could do a lot more with it. I believe it has the msot levels than other versions but to me it felt the most active. Not sure why. Maybe because the companions can be in different parts of the ship at times. Or maybe because it "looks" better.
SR2 over the the original. Now between the alliance or Cerberus variants it’s a toss up. I liked how Cerberus utilized every section of the ship for a specific purpose or job. This also made the ship feel full since every member of your squad had a dedicated place. The Alliance version for me seems to have a lot of empty space. The old armory location off the bridge is a dead end for storage; the old lab area is a meeting room that isn’t utilized (except once); the observation deck Samara used is empty unless you keep Ashley or Kaiden on the squad, and the opposing deck observation is usually empty; data core is empty; Zaeed’s room is only used if you invite Aller on; grunts room is only used if you have Javik; and Jack’s coft is empty. The only improvements for me are gaining access to the hanger bay and the War room.
So between the two, I’m leaning more towards the Cerberus SR2 (I also loved how every time Shepard had to contact in TIM, they walked onto the conference table; that was sick!! It gives me goosebumps every time; love that table lol).
Very much agree @Photophobia21. What I found unnerving about the Alliance SR2 variant where the open bulkheads, hanging cables and stickers everywhere. So untidy. That’s why I lean towards the Cerberus SR2.
@Whatagame The final phase of the retrofits were interrupted by the arrival of the Reapers. That maybe the reason for the untidyiness and don’t forget the fenris mech someone left on the ship.
That’s a legit reason, @Lethal blade00. What would have been a nice touch though, if they finished the retrofit during the shore leave mission.
That was either just a missed opportunity or it was fixed but the hijacking reversed it. If it was just a missed opportunity then why did’nt they include it in LE?
Imma be honest cerburus sr2 was the most explorable, alliance was the best and sr1 is kinda so bad it slightly alright
What do you think?
