Is it just me or does Harbinger sound a lot like Darth Vader when he says assuming control?

Yes, it is just you. They do not sound alike at all. Not in the slightest.
Well Keith Szarabajka (Harbinger) and
James Earl Jones (Darth Vader) are quite different people.
But both have iconic and deep voices.
