Commander Shepard

I personally enjoyed it and had lots of fun with it, I feel like the endings weren't bad, although maybe it should've been more than just choosing colour, but still a great and emotional conclusion of the trilogy.

I'm asking this because I saw some people claiming that it wasn't good, some even said about ME2.

So is the character creation system the same throughout the whole main trilogy? Is there a quickstart option in all 3 games?

Anyone know of any creepy or scary things about the Mass effect universe? I knew a few but would like to know if there’s any others I don’t know about just cuz lol. I’ve always thought that one of the creepiest things I’ve encountered in my playthroughs of ME2 was David being experimented on by his own brother to reach the Elusive Man’s own personal goals. It is just absolute torture and probably one of the gnarliest things I’ve seen in a game. Would like to know everyone’s own experiences 🤘

Only missing similarities at this point are

-A fandom meme highlighting supposed prejudice against a mostly villainous species (Batarians for Shep's case)

-Being called by last name often (preferably pronounces "Noceda" as "no ceder" for that extra depth)

-Actually facing down the Reaper counterparts (Archivists) besides their "vanguard of destruction," maybe even dying again (not in Shep's case). Oh well, give or take years for some sequel series giving eyes on future events

So recently I was browsing the mass effect wiki and went onto Shepard’s page and it said that the biotic shepard was secondary exposed to element zero and that’s how he became a biotic. But how does one become secondary exposed to element zero? This has confused me for a few days as I’m trying to figure out how shepard was secondary exposed to it. If you know how then please tell me.

Players may be able to make Shepard male or female in the games, so it makes one wonder if Shepard will be a man or a woman in the show, since one can't make such selections when watching a program.

What is the post all about?: Todays topic is something what i followed on YouTube a while now, it's about who could we play as in the upcoming game.

My thoughts & speculation (neutral): many fans have let go of the idea that we could play as Shepard again, and honest i can understand why. Shepard is through from the Story telling side, but one thing what on the other hand is also understandable is that Shepards ending in mass effect 3 doesn't feel right he should be with Tali and live a normal life on Rannoch with her, i think many fans just wanna see that Shepard is still there but not on the front line. And honest this sounds for the best, but we cannot forget that we don't know nothing in what time it will play. But what do I think is the best choice for the main character..? Well let's see what many fans came up with shall we?

Community speculation:

Liara's child theory: Many people believe that the next main character will be the child of Liara and Shepard, what would sound nice if there was not such a big problem. Not everyone fell for Liara, and with that BioWare needs to make a tuff choice. What if people romance garrus as example? Or Tali? How would Liara tell them that "oh hey Tali i just wanna let you know that i secretly got pregnant with Shepards child and he didn't even know it, because i did it without his knowing." This is a tuff choice which i think personally BioWare will not do, simply out of the fact that it would make a lot of people angry and sad, and until they rewrite a part of the biological story of mass effect that Humans can get children with turians, Quarians etc. It should be a no.

N7 theory: Many people wanna a refreshing start, how can you do that? With a new character. People wanna see someone else in this N7 armor, but if BioWare wants to make this happen this new character needs be damn well written. Otherwise it will end like with Ryder. A character who trys to stand out of Shepards shadow.

Alien main character: What many fans wanna see (me included) is to play as any alien specie in the mass effect universe and if not just the citadel member species. That would be awesome to see, but we cannot forget the one thing what makes mass effec, mass effect. We play as a human in a world full of alien races with all kinds of problems. For us old soldiers this wouldn't be a problem, we know all species what happened to them etc. But what about the newcomers? If they play as a alien right at the start they don't know what made commander Shepard so special and the aspect that we could really feel into the problems of our Crew. I would say for older players of this series it would be awesome playing as a Alien. But the newcomers would first play the first three games to even understand the 4-5 game of the series. It's like with movies if you start in the middle of the trilogy you have no idea what happened before. And this destorys for me personally the fun. But i can be wrong also.

My end thoughts: i think in the end we should give BioWare the space, time and attention that they know we stand right behind them. If we start to force them to something it could end like anthem, beautiful game but the rest sucks. I think BioWare will give us a amazing game what makes us cry and feel every choice our character makes. But they should give us old players at least the Confirmation that Shepard lives with Tali (our your live interest) a happy live in retirement. So that fans of the Shepard cult can rest their forks and torches. But in the end we have to understand, that BioWare can not make everyone of us happy. As much as I wish that Shepard would return, we must also see the possibility that we maybe just find him on Rannoch together with Tali as a npc or he just gets mentioned. I'm not a downtalker, but that's also the case for the people who wish for a game that plays in the far further. Bioware could also just take Shepard again and we could play as him after the war.

Anyway, i hope you like this post of mine i took really the time on it, to give my honest opinion on it. You can disagree with me, even if there isn't much. I stayed neutral in this post and didn't took any specific side to favor. I hope we can discuss what your thoughts are on the upcoming game, I'm also open for PCs but that's up to you. Hello people and welcome back to another one of my post todays topic has nothing to do with alien species or near...kinda...ok yeah it has something to do with it, but hear me out first. This post is pure speculation and i wanna have some fun. So don't take it so serious.

What is the post all about?: We will talk about a certain detail, what i can't get out of my mind. Do you remember the moment where Shepard takesvthe awakening gasp, well if you look around the Surroundings where the scene takes place, you will quickly notice something. Surroundings where the scene takes place, you will quickly notice something. it's kind of dust in the air...or snow? yeah i think everyone of us has thought about that. but what's the point?

speculation: People on Reddit and on YouTube speculat about on certain detail, The moment Shepard took a breath after his supposed death. It's not clear if the developers put this in on purpose. It's not clear if the developers put this in on purpose, or this is another hint that Shepard will be returning. Because we know liara is on a ice planet in the trailer

My thoughts about it: I personally think it's too far out the window to use as evidence, but it could be a clue as to what timeline it might be set. But I don't want to exaggerate, because we don't really have a clue if it's set 600 years after Mass Effect 3 or just a few years after the reaper war. The developer are really good at confusing us with concept art and teaser trailers. But I don't think the game takes place 600 years in the future. But when it comes to that, I'm neutral.

What is the post all about?: In today's post i will talk about future squamates in the upcoming mass effect 5. I will also talk about certain stuff around Shepard and Ryders further and how we could see both in it. Also how Shepard could get his happy ending.

Squamates slots/Selection/speculation:

If we take in that Shepard will come in the next game as the main protagonist we need quite a few slots, so to make it fair we will say there are 6 slots. Depending on who you playing one slot will be empty. But now to the squamates.

Original mass effect Squamates:

1. Kaiden or Ashley (old)

2. Your love interest

3. Liara (old)

4. Wrex (old)

5. Aria (old)

Mass effect Andromeda

6. Ryder or Shepard

7. Ryders lover/love

My speculation: where should I start, ah. I know where, with Wrex and Aria, they have a deep connection (if you knew from mass effect 1) they nearly killed themselves each other on a ship for few days, but that not why i think they will come in the game. I got this idea from the one picture what got uploaded on N7 day with the crash side of the geth ship and with the three people who came out of the other ship. I'm pretty sure from the coloring and froms these characters have i saw wrax with Aria and Ryder. But not just that, we know from concept arts that Aria will get a bigger territory, and with that i mean she will take over illum. And will be getting a bigger political person. But why and how she would join Shepard/Ryder is also quite simple we see the same shields in Andromeda as in omega, that means somehow aria could come to Andromeda. When it comes to Shepards love interest i think it's a yes, it's important to give Shepard a happy ending and to give Shepard a prober send off, and to satisfy the Shepard fans. I think why liara will come in i don't need to explain... As well as Ryder, he will become the next main character. Kaiden or Ashley i think would give the Squad and us fans some old mass effect 1 hype, and i need to think about what kaiden said to us that he would've never stopped looking for Shepard if he would be still alive.

My fears: The hard reality is, we don't even know what way BioWare will take when it comes to the main character in the upcoming game. I just don't want to see Ryder or a new character knowing that Shepard didn't even gothis happy ending. Because let me tell you something, the perfect destroy ending is no proper send off from Shepard. If they don't wanna bring back Shepard, fine but then they need explain what exactly happened to him and him and his love interest. I wish that by the end Shepard his love interest and Crew can lay there weapons down and live a normal live. As example; Tali and Shepard finally come together after his death and together they livlve in the house on rhanok.

With the recent news that Henry Cavill will unfortunately no longer be playing Superman, on top of his exit from The Witcher, I started thinking about the Mass Effect “script” he posted awhile ago; as well as when he said he would love to be in a project involving the IP.

Henry Cavill has played the original trilogy before, and could bring a lot of passion to the role that many others would not have. I think if the post he shared was true, and he has looked at a Mass Effect script, this could be a perfect opportunity for him to jump into the project. Only this time, I would pray to the Heavens that this man doesn’t get dragged through the mud by corporate suits the way he did with DC and The Witcher. Give the dude a break and let him bring an adaptation to life that doesn’t turn into a dumpster fire.

What do you think? Would you like to see Henry as Shepard in a Mass Effect adaptation of some sort? Or if they do go through with an adaptation, would you prefer someone else?
