Mass Effect

Anybody else have any new information on ME5? Last I read they hinted at the game being named Epsilon and that it won’t be ready until 2028-29…..

Anyone know of any creepy or scary things about the Mass effect universe? I knew a few but would like to know if there’s any others I don’t know about just cuz lol. I’ve always thought that one of the creepiest things I’ve encountered in my playthroughs of ME2 was David being experimented on by his own brother to reach the Elusive Man’s own personal goals. It is just absolute torture and probably one of the gnarliest things I’ve seen in a game. Would like to know everyone’s own experiences 🤘

I'm kinda interested in trying out the legendary edition even though i already have the original trilogy but i do have some concerns.

1. Is the console and it's commands are still available on the legendary edition for all 3 games? If not are there any mods that make it available again?

2. Is it still possible to edit the .ini files in all three games? Like changing weapon and armor stats like in the PC tweaks page of the original trilogy?

3. Does the previous save editor for mass effect 2 and 3 still work for the legendary edition? Or does it have a new editor all together.

4. Is there a way to immediately get the DLC weapons of 2 and 3 right at the start of the game? Like through mods, save editor or editing of the game files etc. I know the legendary did it for balance purposes but i got so used to the original trilogy having it available right from the start.

Hey guys, as you may know I'm new to this wiki because I started playing Mass Effect (2007) two days ago on my PC and now I'm just getting started to this game franchise.

So replaying ME1 yet again and I am at Ilos going through the bunker and it occurred to me now that if Vigil was telling the truth and he didn't have enough power to sustain the life pods for say the one thousand or so years necessary... how come we have enough power for the lights, elevators, forcefields, conduit and himself to talk to us? Was he lying? Was he programmed to kill them thinking that they were possibly indoctrinated? Or did he go nuts being alone for so long kinda like the AI we find in Andromeda? What are your thoughts?

I'm new to Mass Effect and I only got the Legendary Edition just before Christmas as part of PS plus. I loved playing those three games so much, that when I heard about Andromeda having multiplayer last week, it was an immediate purchase. Loving the game so far!

Hello people and welcome back to another one of my post. Todays topic is something that interest myself a lot, better say what you think about it.

Todays topic is 'what is your canon?' and yes i know BioWare has said that there is actually a canon ending but I'm honestly give a damn about it. The mass effect series isn't about canon, it's about the various Shepards who exist, every player has a different approach on the game and if we can import our ME3 Data's it doesn't matter anyway what is canon. And honestly i hate the idea that a game where you can choose a path should have canon way. Anyway after the first comment i show you my 'canon' ending.

I have never done a serious, let alone Full playthrough of mass effect, until now! I heard so many great things about the story, and I'd appreciate that i will not get any spoilers, So far very great, controls are janky but nostalgic, I am on legendary edition, so (I think it's improved) I've never played for more than after you become spectre and then i lost interest, Now, I'm slightly mature. so I think i'll understand the story a lot more than 10 or so years ago.

My thoughts so far:

I completely forgot most of the things except the opening, but yeah. Eden Prime and the citadel escaped my head. mostly because i've played other games.

What i will say though, is Jenkins and Nihlus dying as soon as you wanna know more about their character, Bit of weak story writing on Bioware's part. No offense Mass effect fans... It was shocking for a character to die as soon as the game started, and it would've been so much better if we actually had a meaningful decision like saving Nihlus or Jenkins, I'd save Jenkins. Sorry Nihlus😂Jenkins's only real relevance to the plot is that he lives on Eden Prime and he is young and ready for anything thrown at him, Wait... WHY DO I HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING INTO A REVIEW? sorry, if you know me on the halo wiki, you'd understand that i am reviewing every game.

Although Nihlus could be saved (I THINK Garrus is the Turian squadmate, idrk. My friend gave that away. now that I think about it, That name rings a bell)

Nihlus had a lot of wasted potential, so did Jenkins. but overall so far so good

8/10. A Strong Start! (Please, do not spoil anything. Just give me recommendations!) Nomad, out.

Hey people and welcome to my post, i hope you are well. So todays topic is about the coming mass effect game, i will tell you my thoughts about the game and what i hope should get in.

What we know: We know nothing particular about the topic, or in which direction the game will go. But what we know is that the game will play 5 years after mass effect 3, it is now also official that the destroying ending is canon. But how? We got leaked a few new concept arts. The first one shows some kind of ship or base, we can tell by construction style that it can't be after Andromeda, more likely a few centuries before XD

. And what backs it up is that down at the left corner is a little info box. With a long code.

But we also got a concept art what really got me, it shows some unknown Planet with the same beam what Shepard used to get to the citadel. But by the looks of it this planet has a toxic atmosphere, how? If you look close enough you will see a torian with some kind of breathing mask, the people in the background also wear these breathing masks. You also see cars but we can tell these are still to old for Andromeda. Maybe the alliance uses these beams for some kind of transportation...?

But the newest picture shows something really interesting, it shows the citadel but without the council. By the looks of it it looks empty. But i think that through the destruction of the council a power hunger was created. But by the looks of it the citadel is in the orbit of some planet, you can see on the right a moon. Maybe the shadow broker have something in plan for us...?

My opinion: Well honestly this makes me more hyped than usually, I'm a long time mass effect fan so i was already in the hype when they made it official. But i know from my research that the game has still a way to go, it is just in demo. But still. My hype will never go down from it!

Now it's time for my expectations on the game, what should get in etc.

• New Alien races

• Cameos from old crew mates like Tali/Jake

• More deep when it comes to the shadow broker

• Longer Romanzes

• Dealing with the Shepard alive problem

• Open world like Andromeda

• No cuttet endings (Like mass effect 3)

• Happy end for Shepard

• Happy end for the crew

• connection between Andromeda

So as we all know in ME1, we get to choose our background of being Colonist, Earthborn, or Spacer. Then War Hero, Ruthless, and Sole Survivor. Knowing myself and my play style, I always go with War Hero (I think that’s the one with bonus paragon). I have played the background of colonist, and spacer. I wanted to try Earthborn this time. That’s the only background I haven’t done. I know that each back ground has one unique side quest that’s related to the background you chose. With that said, I read an article online about the Earthborn, and I don’t know if I should believe the article or not but, since I’m playing Earthborn background, will that have an impact on the dialogue in ME 3, and will Shepard act differently since the background is earth born?
