If they could still enter thr citadel when its closed if there was still an opening that would make closing and sealing the citadel pointless which is why they have the smaller segments for the ends to fully seal the citadel
Not really. I play on xbox1s and i enjoyed it felt more like it is Real World where you have to learn routes and read signs and enjoy the scenery

Howdy folks, long time lurker first time poster here. Played the mass effect trilogy when they first came out and was hooked now playing the legendary edition and gotta say bioware did the original justice without fudging it up much if any.
