Yeah, I like my Earthborn War Hero to generally be a good guy but doesn't have qualms with using intimidation or threats given their time with gangs. Gives second chances tho since the Alliance saved their butt from a life of crime, and they themselves have done what they had to to survive before (Helena Blake, the other Pragia kid). Doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger tho (Udina, Blue Suns mechanic, defenestration).

Yeah, I like the Spacer background too. Shep's mom is nice. I like to pair Spacer with Sole Survivor tho. Good upbringing but Akuze would've made them tougher

And then there's Garrus who waited for 6 months, researching human customs and stashing an expensive wine somewhere in hopes of Shep still feeling the same way about him.

I'm replaying ME3 rn after about 3 years. Mordin's death really hit me. I was so fucking nervous during Rannoch, and got really emotional when Legion sacrificed himself.

I recently finished Thessia, and I just feel crushed and heavy and seething. ME3 has a lot of rough, desperate moments, sigh.

He did feel some guilt in getting Shepard killed when he wouldn't abandon the SR-1 then. He'd take it hard at least.

I really would've gone for Destroy, but I can't bring myself to kill the geth and EDI after all the work for brokering peace with the quarians, and EDI's growth as a person. But it's also what we set out to do in the first place (destroy the reapers). Shepard lives here tho.

Would've also gone for Synthesis, but there's not much explanation for how it happens. How would it even work? Ideal, but it seems too wishy-washy to me.

Control just makes me feel bad for my Shep. Martyrdom, the ultimate sacrifice. Man, I just want Shep to rest. It's also TIM's choice, rubs me the wrong way. And as the previous comment said, it's like playing god. Sounds kinda cool also presumptuous.

Tbh I alternate between Control or Synthesis. Might just be due to my hero complex haha ? There's also this Shakarian fic where Garrus' grandson finds a holo-Shep who chose Control, and I bawl whenever I read it.

^I agree with you there. They definitely put a lot effort into Liara's character, even I was a bit put off at times bc of how obvious the game pushes her to you. But I also get why a lot of people like her as she was designed to appeal to players. We all have our own preferences. She's clearly dedicated to Shepard, I'll say that much.

Hale sounds so badass in renegade interrupts in ME2 tho, even I was surprised. Like you don't need to lose your cool to be tough.

Can't argue with Anderson's VA, the guy does an awesome job.

Took a while for Mark Meer to really up his performance as Shep tho. I get that the tone of their voices had to be kept at a level bc the player might go back and forth with paragon and renegade choices, which Jennifer Hale has done excellently since ME1. But tbh... I'm not a big fan of her raspy voice in ME3 ?

They did! I can't remember the details, but there were in Steam and Origin?? It was only available until May or June this year? My memory is really bad. Either way, I couldn't get them bc I'm on console :((
