No, it's not a joke in-universe, it was a joke for us, the people in the real world.

A robot asks if it has a soul, so the joke is to crush the Geth's dreams and say souls don't exist in the first place.
A robot can't have a soul, but that's okay because organics don't either.
Maybe I didn't word the post right. Oh well, I thought it was funny.
It's been a few years since I last played the trilogy, and I honestly can't remember anti-biotic bigotry.
Just, like, a mission where suffering biotics didn't get the medical care they wanted.

My biggest thing is I want LORE.
Mass Effect is one of my favorite universes, so I just want more stuff in it.
More stories, more events, things like that.
If you really break it down, galactic history is like: Rachni Wars, Krogan Rebellions, Geth. That's all the major stuff for like 4,000 years. What happened in the intervening years?
The only reason not to romance Garrus or Tali is if you want them to end up together
If the game is taking place after the Red ending, doesn't that mean the Geth are all gone?
Personally, if the game takes place a few years after the Reaper war, I'd be fine playing as Shepard again.
But if the game takes place several hundred years later, I'd want to play as someone else. Just let the man rest, he doesn't need to be resurrected every other game.
And while I really want to play as an alien in ME4, I realize that's probably not going to happen.
I like the feel of being in a proper alliance warship, so ME 3 for me
I figure there might be some mention of it I'm ME4, but I can't imagine anything big will come from it.
I also don't think there will ever be an Andromeda 2
