Internet broke me, I read "HBD" and I think "human biodiversity"
That's not how the system works, sometimes the good path is put on the bottom, where Renegade options go, or even straight up coded as Renegade. Think of it more as Paragon being more of a universalist who tries to reason with people and restitute them while Renegade is closer to a human nationalism who's not in the least shy to use threats and administer punishment.
Romancing Liara
No, she's lethally boring.
That really depends which game and which mode. ME2? Incendiary/Cryo. ME3SP? Incendiary. ME3MP? Disruptor/AP.
Gameplay-wise, one Banshee is the most dangerous scenario.

Yes, we have a winner
No, literally not a single commital statement by BioWare. Currently, they even seem incapable of fixing the old ME3MP net issues despite trying.
No, Tevos was just Aria's bitch. The body language is clear.
@Lethal blade00 The "problems" arise in different ways. Some people are told that all their failures are caused by those of different skin colors, and they choose to believe that for whatever reason. Some realize they've been marked as targets because of their ancestry so they go along with the identity they've been given because it precisely identifies their co-belligerents. In any case, calling the world's majority "narrowminded" won't change their behavior.

@Lethal blade00 Not from becoming a thing, but continuing in a stable manner, yes. Because if you allow conflicts like the racial tensions of today to be waged by hijacking state institutions that wield unchallenged military power then it ends with tyranny, not cooperation.
@Lethal blade00 True but currently I see ethnic resentments and particular ambitions far exceeding any perceived common cause and I don't see that going away unless there's something bordering an existential threat.
You could also just daycare over those squabbles but I don't see that going for long in a democracy, not since the creation of racial identities.
No, a democratic body governing a population as diverse as nearly all of humanity and not deteriorating into a tyranny of one racial or religious group over another seems too utopian to be real. Unless the conditions from Mass Effect reproduce and we learn about some potentially hostile aliens and that threat will supersede all prior antagonisms but I don't think we'll ever meet any of those.
@Lethal blade00 After thinking, you're probably right. But SAM existed in some way in a human body and that puts it a bit closer to humanity IMO.
SAM was a wiser idea, make this thing corporeal so that is has something in common with humanity.
@Thehumaneldar The volus thing is in fact unspecified and it's even said that they like to keep the gentiles confused on the matter. MP class descriptions use neuter pronouns.
There are also the vorcha and possibly the volus.
@Lethal blade00 The term "Prothean" is ambiguous; it can mean a first-class citizen of the Prothean Empire, a member of its founding race, or someone possessing the Cipher. I prefer the last definition because of its implications, and by this definition, Shiala and Shepard are Protheans.
In most playthroughs, there are Shiala and Shepard.
