I know to talk to James, I know it’s 4 steps; First being after Mars and in the Fist fight, Second is at human embassies, Third is in Purgatory, and Fourth is in your Cabin I after curing the genophage. I just can’t remember the exact steps because everytime I’ve played I’ve always missed this, what’s the exact steps to get this? I really can’t remember steps 2 & 3 of when to do them. I’ve looked it up, can’t get a clear answer, and I’ve looked up videos
What's on your mind?

Mass Effect 3
Hey everyone!!! Long time no see, I’m hopping back in the MELE universe. This time on my PS5; all my bonus powers and everything got deleted somehow so I’m having to start over entirely on the PS5 run. I forgot something and need some help remembering, where do I find the Fire Fight and GroundSide Resistance packs in ME3 in the legendary edition. I know that it adds 14 weapons total. So where do I obtain them, I know the N7 weapons can be found in the Spector Office and the N7 Valkyrie in Omega DLC. Thanks for the help. I will reach out if I have any other questions, it’s been some time since I’ve played.
Just Updated
I personally enjoyed it and had lots of fun with it, I feel like the endings weren't bad, although maybe it should've been more than just choosing colour, but still a great and emotional conclusion of the trilogy.
I'm asking this because I saw some people claiming that it wasn't good, some even said about ME2.
Is it normal to feel absolutely frustrated after beating ME3? For context, I just finished my second playthrough of the triology as a full paragon Shep and got the "perfect" Destroy ending, after screwing up a lot in my first playthrough (playing a "mixed" Shep). Lost Tali and Solus in ME2, only got up to 7150 in War Assets due to losing the Quarians in ME3 and ended up dying at the end so my second playthrough was arguably much better (got over 8000 in War Assets, 8197 if I'm not mistaken. Also had everyone alive and kicking, even minor side characters like Balak).
So about the ending... it's just... ugh. I don't even have a way to describe it, but I guess my biggest frustration with ME3 is the fact that Shepard dies (or almost dies, regarding "perfect" Destroy) without interference of the player. There's is not a cheaper way of ending a story, let alone solving the ultimate challenge of that story. I'm very familiar with what went down back when ME3 released and all the backlash, and knowing all of this just makes me feel like BW came up with everything on the fly. Suddenly the Reapers are commanded by an AI instead of Harbinger (or governed by a wicked consensus, as in not as "harmonious" as the Geth consensus), suddenly we get to meet the creator(s) of the Reapers (seriously, why isn't Leviathan an end-of-game major lore mission?) and SUDDENLY the Reapers start their invasion which is my biggest problem. Sure, they made the long journey out of Dark Space and into the Milky Way, okay... BUT HOW? At least explain THAT to me.
*Sigh* and the fact that we'll never get an actual, proper ending to Shepard's story makes everything that much worse, especially with that short scene which supposed proves his/her survival after destroying the Reapers. No, I don't count on the so-called Mass Effect 5 actually releasing and with the state Bioware is in... yeah, I don't want THEM releasing it anyway.
For a few months now, I have been thinking about if there was more to Mass Effect 3's ending than was shown, and by that, I mean the color that radiates from the Citadel at the end, and that theory, or maybe headcanon, is this: what if each color is meant to be a safeword for all the reapers, where each color represents a different non-harvesting function?
Most of the time, classes don't have any bearing on the plot of the games, but if you're Paragon, I recommend playing as engineer, especially in 3, because of the Omega DLC
Hi, I really need help with this question I have 6500-7000 war assets in Mass effect 3 legendary edition I don't know if this is enough for the final mission though because I keep hearing different amounts I can't find any consistency in the answer does anyone know what the actual amounts are for the three final choices all I want is enough to get synthesis ending
Is there a mod for Shepard's man's romance with Trainor?
Hey @Benjy987 or @Marolf i have a question about ME 3 Weapons. Marolf I remember you saying that once you reach a certain level in ME 3 the X weapons can become available or something similar to that. My question is once it’s unlocked or you get a it available can it be available in the next play through if I do a new character? You know how in ME 1 once you reach the 1,000,000 credits, A) the Rich Achievement is obtained, but B) in every play through the Spectre weapons are available. Is it like that with the X weapons in ME 3? Hope you have a great day!
Does anyone else find it weird that Cerberus Assault Troopers use Harriers during cutscenes but use Hornets in gameplay? Why can't they use the Harriers in gameplay also?
I discovered a bug where sometimes when you load a save the opposite gender Will load in and skills are locked.
I have a nitpick when it comes to this topic.
The problem I have is that in Mass Effect 2, it. made sense, we were working with them and thus have access to their resources.
But in ME3, they're an enemy faction and we are now back with the alliance, so why do we have access to so many Cerberus armors. I understand gameplay wise, but canon wise it just doesn't.
Maybe I am nitpicking too much, but I just had to get this of my chest.
I'm going through the Shepard trilogy, and when faced with three endings (I don't take reject into account), I chose the ending of Destruction. I'll explain why right now.
As for me, Destruction is the ending that clearly shows that for any victory in the war you have to pay a terrible price. After collecting all possible resources, information, and specialists, Shepard and his Normandy team, together with all the forces of the galaxy, recapture the Earth and the entire galaxy from the Reapers. Yes, all synthetics, EDI, the Geth will be destroyed. The Mass-Relay network will be shut down because of this semblance of an "EMP-pulse," but no one claimed that we would not be able to restore everything. Shepard's decision does not roll back progress to the "Stone Age". In the same cut scene, it was shown that the Citadel had been restored, plus the Matriarch Etita proposed the idea of creating their own relays. (of course, I doubt that they will use it as a relay. After all, even before the battle for the Citadel, no one could have known that she was capable of fulfilling this role). So, there is hope that the galaxy will find an alternative replacement for relays, it will be possible to restore both Geth and EDI. Well, the cherry on this cake is that Shepard can survive with a high readiness of the galaxy (this moment really confused me, because it's not clear how it works at all)
Control is the perfect ending for a renegade, because you can "sacrifice" only Shepard so that he reincarnates into the Reapers AI, thereby becoming the new protective force of the galaxy. On the one hand, neither synthetics nor organics will have to make sacrifices, and the relays will be restored by the Reapers. But on the other hand, there is no guarantee that the AI-Shepard will not come to the same decision as the Catalyst - the destruction of all organics to prevent wars and deaths. This is literally the logic of tyrants - mass murder for the sake of salvation. You can't entrust your life to machines that can destroy you if anything happens, the risk is too high. Subjugating the Reapers according to the precepts of the Ghost will not be the solution to the problem, as Javik said.
Synthesis is a very strange ending. Crucible's EMP-Pulse generated "synthetic genes" based on Shepard's DNA, which were built to match the code of all living beings in the galaxy. It sounds quite strange and mystical. I understand that many people will say, "You're surprised by this, but you're not surprised by the mass effect, biotics, geths, and all that crap related to Reapers, Collectors, etc.", but at least it sounds more or less reasonable from the point of view of science (no matter how strange it sounds), in unlike the "sphere of energy", that irradiating organic matter adds "boards all over the body" to them + it is unclear how the body with new capabilities will function, too, is not displaced. The most ideal synthesis is Shepard HIMSELF, and as it is, this ending leaves too many questions behind. Yes, she is the ideal of what Saren wanted to achieve, but she, like Control, "deprives the feeling of price" in this war, which at least logically deprives that feeling of victory, so to speak.
I hope you were interested in reading this opinion. I must say right away - it is subjective. Write down what you think about this
I want to import my me3 save to a new me3 save but could not find anything about if you can still get the required 7800 war assets to get the best destroy ending. If anyone knows the answer the help would be helpful.
Left to right:
Destroy the Coral/Reapers (and all Rubicon/synthetic life)
End the war without destroying them
Reaper/C-Synthesis
Perks of being a new continuity start and the third ending having tighter requirements including specific missions and multiple playthroughs, lel

Well I’m playing mass effect legendary and I’ve noticed something different with shepherd and joker on ME3 when joker gave shepherd a salut and shepherd did the same, but this time joker gave shepherd a salut and shepherd gave joker a handshake as respect, had anyone noticed this or is it me?
