The Angara[1] are a sapient race of humanoids native to the planet Havarl from the Heleus Cluster encountered by Andromeda Initiative personnel in the Andromeda galaxy.

Biology
The Angara are same have the same leg structure of a Quarian and Turian and they appear to be have wide shoulders and narrow hips. They have two black eyes with blue irises, a mouth and a line in between, a pair of nostrils, four or five fingers on each hand and bits of flesh on the sides of their heads. Male Angara are more taller than Female Angara and the Female has more narrow hips and rounder faces.
History
The Angara were once a highly advanced species, but the kett invasion of the Heleus Cluster disrupted their civilization. Many Angara are now part of a resistance movement against the Kett.[2]
Culture
The Angara as a species are very free with their emotions and very larger than life even to the point of being sad. If they love you they hug you, if they hate you or you make them mad, they punch you right in the face, even their own family members. The Angara also are not trustful of other races of the Milky Way which is quite understandable because the last species they met are the Kett and they have done nothing but attacking and enslaving the Angara.
