  • Mass Effect: Paragon Lost: Produced by T.O. Entertainment and FUNimation, Paragon Lost is a prequel to Mass Effect 3 and follows the early career of Alliance Marine, James Vega. Television Series[]

Following the film's cancellation, development has pivoted to adapting the story for television. On November 7, 2024, a Mass Effect TV series was officially announced to be in the works. Key personnel involved are executive producers Michael Gamble, Avi Arad, Karim Zreik, and David Casey. Casey was also tapped as a writer for the series.[4] The series will be set in the canon of the original trilogy, and will take place after the conclusion of said trilogy.[5] It will feature an entirely new cast of characters.[6]

On June 6, 2025, it has been announced that Doug Jung has been hired as showrunner for the series and will also be an executive producer alongside previously mentioned personnel.[7]
