Project: Adding "Weakness" to enemy infoboxes

I think it would be useful to add a "weakness" stat to the ME3 Adversaries infobox, showing where you shoot the thing for extra damage. So many enemies would say "Weakness = Head" but for example Ravager would say "Weakness = Behind Center Sac" or something like that. Template mockup is User:Cattlesquat/sandbox/Template:AdversariesME3; an example use of it is User:Cattlesquat/sandbox/enemyweakpoint.

I'm inclined to say no. This sounds like it would be better left in the tactics/notes sections. TheUnknown285 (talk) 17:52, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

no comment on proposal as of yet, though i incidentally found this with light googling. only tangentially relevant to proposal, but heed the bioware dev's words nonetheless. Ooh, interesting link. And how many times have I been told to shoot Banshees "in the head"... so many! Whether we add to the infobox or stay with player notes, we definitely want clean info. Cattlesquat (talk) 19:34, May 6, 2013 (UTC)
Actually FWIW our current Banshee entry (the twenty-fourth bullet-point, which is kind of the reason I think some better highlighting of basic weakpoints is in order) says that Banshee head weakness was "removed in Patch 1 and then restored in Patch 4". Obviously this points up the difficulty in having the correct information, whichever format we put it in, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. Cattlesquat (talk) 19:40, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

I think this is unnecessary, especially after looking at the link and seeing that a lot of 'Weaknesses' are unintentional - I know for a fact some have even been patched. If there is a proven and repeatable weak spot with different weapon classes and mods then it should be mentioned in Tactics/Player Notes - not the infobox. Garhdo (talk) 19:02, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

I just think it should be presented more prominently than e.g. the twenty-fourth bullet point (on the Banshee page). It's a fairly basic attribute players go to look for, and currently it's randomly buried in a bunch of general tactics. Cattlesquat (talk) 19:40, May 6, 2013 (UTC)
In that case the bullet points should be reordered, within any proven weaknesses at the top, but it doesn't belong in an infobox. Garhdo (talk) 20:41, May 6, 2013 (UTC)
Totally open to that. Cattlesquat (talk) 20:53, May 6, 2013 (UTC)
Or an alternative would be to have a "known strong and/or weak points" section following Offensive & Defensive sections and preceding bullet points. Since bullet points get semi-randomly reordered in the chaos of it all. Cattlesquat (talk) 20:54, May 6, 2013 (UTC)
