  • spoilers ahead if you haven't done the first mission*

So I completed the main quest on Eos, went into the vault and supposedly cleared the atmosphere. Everyone talks about me clearing the skys and yet I still seem restricted to within the shields around settlements. There still seems to be plenty of radiation. Is there anyway to clear it all up? or am I just supposed to finish the vault, set up the settlement of Portomos and leave? The planet viability is currently 66%.

To top it off, there are areas where the radiation is literally impossible, I drive in an within 30 seconds my life support is dead. At least two of my side missions are in these radiation pockets. The radiation doesn't seem to bother the Kett though, as I was ambushed from a group camped within a radiation kill zone.

So am I missing something? is my game bugged?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Dupmeister (talk) 18:01, April 1, 2017 (UTC)

I'm at a similar place in this my first play-through. Eos is at just over 75% viable for me, and I get the feeling there are still a lot of things left to do and places I haven't explored yet. I just keep getting lured away to other planets and the Nexus by other quests, and as time passes the new colony is changing and developing. So it may be that Eos is never really "finished", as new things seem to pop up every time you go back there.
