Hello everyone, have just recently started playing ME2, and it's a fantastic game but for one thing. On jarrahe station there is a bug in the research facility so that when you use the computers to move the beam around it crashes. I've followed the instructions to try to fix the bug in game, but that doesn't seem to be working for me, has anyone got any other suggestions to get past this, as otherwise I effectively can go no further in this game.

Liz, a couple of suggestions: Try restarting the mission from the beginning… If you already tried that and it didn’t work, load your latest save and start another mission and then come back to this one. These N7 missions you can do in any order, like the main recruiting / loyalty missions. --RayShepp654 13:35, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
Hi Liz,
The problem comes from the blue light of the beam. For some reason it causes crashes in ME2, same with Praetorian fights, the blue light from their eyes crashes the game. Try not aiming the camera at the blue light and this should solve the problem.
Also, if necessary, Jarrahe Station is completely optional, you don't need to complete it to finish the game. It leads to one other assignment, but that one's also optional. Cattlesquat (talk) 07:17, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
