So I'm playing Bring Down the Sky when I get to a paragon/renegade option with Charn. I select the renegade option since I'm really trying to max out my renegade meter when I see that after the conversation is over, I am awarded paragon points. WTH? So what I'm hoping to find out is if there's a way to identify exactly how many paragon/renegade points I have and if I can remove some. I know of the cheat to award the points but I don't want to give myself too many or too less points in order to fix this problem. Any suggestions? TS2Aggie 06:07, June 28, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, if you look at the Mass Effect Morality Guide it tells you that both persuasion options give you Paragon. It makes sense because both of them lets him go. You will get Renegade points if you say "[Kill Him]," in which case you have to fight him and his goons. Don't worry, though, because there is almost twice the amount of points needed to max out your Paragon/Renegade bars in the entire game. I don't think having a little Paragon is going to ruin your Renegade Shepard. —ArmeniusLOD 06:28, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
Actually, it all worked out in the end. I hadn't thought of the fact that the GetRenegade and GetParagon cheats could actually subtract points as well as add them. In fact, that's also how I managed to determine exactly how many points I had and to adjust accordingly: when you alter the point total, it'll tell you how many points were added or subtracted, allowing you to figure out exactly how many points you had to begin with. It was quite neat. TS2Aggie 20:19, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
