Gabriella "Gabby" Daniels is a Cerberus operative in the Lazarus Cell and an engineer aboard the Normandy SR-2.
She is voiced by Dannah Feinglass.

Engineer Daniels works in the engine room along with her best friend, Kenneth Donnelly. They graduated from the same class at a tech academy and served aboard the SSV Perugia at the Battle of the Citadel. After the battle, Gabby insisted to Kenneth that she be included in the contract with Cerberus as she felt he would fall apart without her.
Gabby loves starships engines and she couldn't pass up the opportunity to serve aboard the Normandy SR-2. She is found on the engineering deck, next to Kenneth. Gabby frequently chats with Kenneth about new ship upgrades or new crew members; after acquiring Jack, she teases Kenneth about the newest crew member who wears nothing but tattoos from the waist up, only to tell him that she is a psychopathic murderer after Kenneth intends to introduce himself to Jack. When she was asked by Shepard whether she requires anything, Gabby mentions of an upgrade that would ease her maintenance workload.
Gabby is among the Normandy crew members abducted by the Collectors when they invade the Normandy, and she will die if Shepard and the squad take too long to rescue the crew.

Mass Effect 3
If she survived the events of Mass Effect 2, Daniels is in custody at the beginning of the game. Shepard can free her to return to work in the Normandy's engine room by using the Spectre office in the Citadel Embassies.
At some point during Normandy's "downtime" prior the third game, Gabby and Ken were both approached by Cerberus, but heeding Gabriela's intuition they both refused the offer.
If recruited, and providing both survived, she and Kenneth Donnelly can enter a romantic relationship at Shepard's prompting (if the player sides with Gabriella in the argument). If this option is chosen, they can be later "caught" in the subdeck.
If Shepard chooses to activate the Crucible, Gabriella, Kenneth and [[[Major Coats]] are seen helping in the reconstruction of London.
Trivia
- Gabby is more serious and formal than Kenneth, often preferring to go straight to the point while her partner takes time to explain everything.
- In Mass Effect 3, both her and Kenneth were originally meant to be recruited at the Purgatory bar, where they are happy to see Shepard made it off Earth alive and admit to be serving with Cerberus only because of the Commander. They quickly agree to follow. [1]
- According to Dusty Everman from Bioware, a programming error in Mass Effect 3 causes the banter and argument between Gabby and Ken only to occur if Shepard is "good friends with Ashley," meaning that the player must frequently converse with Ashley and take her out on several missions to hear the two banter back and forth. If Ashley is dead, the banter cannot be activated. [2] This error is fixed by installing Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut.[3]
