Kassa Fabrication

A human-controlled private company, Kassa Fabrication is known to make the some of the finest body armor in the galaxy (Colossus Armor). When it comes to personal protection suits, no expense is spared - as reflected in the exorbitant cost of their products. Kassa also makes top quality weapons such as the advanced Harpoon Sniper Rifle. Recently, Kassa has also begun to manufacture omni-tools, though it will be some time until the quality is brought up to the high standards of their armor lines.

Featuring a complex recoil-reducing mechanism and high-grade autotargeting software, the Locust delivers longer-range, more accurate fire than others in its class.

Description

In Mass Effect 3, Kassa Fabrication manufactures components of customizable armor, which can be assembled into a full set. The Kassa Fabrication Armor Suit is trailered entirely around kinetic barrier shields. Every available surface on each limb is covered with auxiliary shield emitters, while the chest-plate is embedded with multiple micro-capacitors that release energy to speed up shield regeneration. The end result is a suit that sacrifices physical protection in favour of maximising and maintaining shield protection.

Accusation

As a non-standard customisable armor suit the Kassa Fabrication armor must be assembled from four separate sections, found in the following places;

• Chest: Priority: Mars - On a workbench on the walkway heading to the way to the trams.
• Shoulders: Cipritine Armory - A shop on the Citadel, located in the Presidium Commons.
• Arms: Priority: Rannoch - On the catwalks just after the blast door at the start of the mission.
• Legs: Arrae: Ex-Cerberus Scientists - Found during the mission.

Notes

• The chestplate of this armor is visually and functionally identical to the Capacitor Chestplate, and visually identical to the Amplifier Plates available in from 2185. As these are both made by manufactures other then Kassa Fabrication it is likely that the rights to the designs were brought by Kassa for the purpose of making this armor suit.
