A featured article should represent our best work. Any page in the main article space that meets our quality standards is a potential candidate for featuring.
Administrators are responsible for selecting and publishing featured articles, although anyone may nominate an article to be featured as well as propose the sample text.

Nominating an article[]
Speak to an admin or leave your suggestion on this talk page.
If several years have passed since an article was featured, it can be featured again. In this case, the existing snippet should be used. Its text or image can be edited as needed.
Publishing (for administrators)[]
Creating and publishing a featured article snippet involves the following steps:
- 1. Create the template page for the FA snippet: [[Template:FA/<number>]], where <number> is the highest existing FA number incremented by 1.
- 2. Write a paragraph that introduces the topic of the article in a few sentences and indicates why it is worthy of spotlighting. Use engaging language (humor is okay), but keep the overall tone classy and professional.

- 3. In the archive for featured content, add a row to the table:
