==Introduction==

The [[Milky Way]] galaxy needs little introduction, but deserves one just the same. It is the galaxy we live in, and the galaxy the game is based in, and the galaxy that is shared with all the other races found in the game, with the exception of the [[Reapers]]. In the game, you're allowed to explore several systems and planets as listed below in a bevy of story driven assignments and sub quests that does a good job of delivering the true scope of size of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Milky Way galaxy needs little introduction, but deserves one just the same. It is the galaxy we live in, and the galaxy the game is based in, and the galaxy that is shared with all the other races found in the game, with the exception of the Reapers. In the game, you're allowed to explore several systems and planets as listed below in a bevy of story driven assignments and sub quests that does a good job of delivering the true scope of size of the Milky Way Galaxy.

You're able to explore the Milky Way once you get control of the SSV Normandy at the Citadel. From there you command the ship and navigate via the Galaxy Map. The Galaxy Map is located in the center of the Normandy's command deck. There are four levels of the map. The four levels are Galaxy, Cluster, System and Planetary.
