Mordin is a doctor, scientist and and the first salarian to join Shepard's squad, appearing for the first time in Mass Effect 2.
He is described as "very smart, fast-talking and surprisingly brutal in his thinking". His distinguishing physical characteristics are his pale complexion, the dark tattoo on his forehead and his truncated right horn.
