Acquisition
Scanning the planet Canalus (3rd planet, Dirada System, Pylos Nebula) reveals strange weather patterns and substaintial geth activity. Landing on the planet, Shepard and his team are tasked with disabling a climate-change device the geth are protecting that may be responsible for the strange climate patterns on Canalus.
Walkthrough
Starting off from the landing zone a blue spire of light permeates the thick smog. Move forward and notice a flare on the ground to the left. Next to this flare is a path leading upwards. Following this path brings you to 2 Refined Palladium boxes (+100 and +200 respectively). Head back down head away from the transport and you will come across another flare next to a crashed probe of sorts. Be careful, for as as soon as you step forward from this point you will be attack from the fog by several geth; this attack can be dangerious on the harder difficulties as there is no warning.
Heading left after the encounter leads you up hill again and to another Refined Palladium (+100). If you follow the path round it leads back past the previous two collectibles and back down to your transport. Heading forward from the flare leads you uphill past another flare and towards several more geth. Continue forward and you'll come across another Refined Palladium (+200). Just ahead is a split in the path, both directions leading the same way. Both also have Refined Palladium, (Left side +100 and right side +200).
Just ahead is a large area with a boulder in the middle. Both sides once again have Refined Palladium (Both sides +200) and on the left is large alcove with another Refined Palladium (+200). Continuing past the boulder you will start going uphill again and encounter more geth resistance. At the top of the hill is a large geth structure with Refined Palladium (+200) to the left and a 'Geth Device' to the front. The device is what's causing the current weather and activating this device causes Shepard to shut it down and ends the mission.
Rewards
- Careful examination of the foggy planet's surface will uncover multiple Refined Palladium (Equalling 2000; only 1800 detailed in the walkthrough).
- Completing the mission awards a Damage Protection upgrade. (This is a x/2 Geth Shield Strength Damage upgrade)
