Neural Shock is a tech power in Mass Effect 2. Neural Shock paralyzes organic enemies for a brief amount of time. At Rank 2 and higher, it permanently impairs the enemy's accuracy as well.

Heavy Neural Shock
- Mordin's shock strength on a single target is so severe that multiple shocks can be chained together to deny an enemy any chance of action.

Neural Shockwave
- Mordin's shock capacitors are greatly increased, allowing a wide area of effect to hit multiple targets.

Game mechanics
- When fired this power will travel in a straight line, instantly hitting the target.
- Targets will first stand up straight for one or two seconds and then fall over. If the target takes damage before falling over, Neural Shock often gets canceled.
- Targets take double weapon damage after falling over until they start to get up (ragdoll damage bonus[1]).
- Krogan regeneration is permanently stopped.
- Enemies in the process of getting up (e.g. after falling over from a previous Neural Shock or Cryo Blast) are immune.
Player Notes
- Neural Shock will instantly kill unarmored Husks.
