Not Trivia? Edit

From Mass_Effect_Wiki:Manual_of_Style, "Trivia is classified as information players may not have been aware of and is impactful or interesting." Now, I didn't add the trivia about her being in Samara's Shadow Broker dossier, nor did I add that trivia to Rila's page (I merely copied it (and edited it a bit) from there so that both pages would link to the information), but I'd certainly consider it to match the given definition of "trivia." ("information players may not have been aware of" - yes, it's info from a DLC to a prior game, only accessible afterwards, and involves an in-name-only character; "impactful or interesting" - yes, it shows aspects of both their personalities, as well as gives more information about their situation (e.g. no personal communicators).) Honestly, if it's not trivia, then it's information important enough to be in the main body of the article (in which case it should have simply been moved and cleaned-up instead of deleted). Commander Rentola has an example of this, linking to his name-drop in Mordin's SB dossier (I'd argue that's more trivia-like, since it's only a name-drop and thus less "impactful," but anyway: I can certainly say that I only 'got' that he was even in the dossier because of his article's link to the transcript - I remembered his face and role, but not name, so it was definitely information I was not aware of). (Of course, now I fear that his article will now be edited to remove that useful information....) So, I support the re-addition of that 'trivia' to the article, whether in the main body or as trivia. (Personally, I think as trivia would be better, considering that it's not an event that happened during the course of ME2, and is more of a stand-alone item.) Discuss? (Also, is there a good way to make paragraph breaks? I'd prefer not to have my text come out as one big mess or hard-to-read-ness...) Anaphysik (talk) 01:13, October 19, 2012 (UTC)
