Okay, so a while back I asked SpartHawg948 if we should include an article on Irikah, and he said it was no problem. So I finally went ahead and created it. However, it must be realized that we know virtually nothing about Irikah (nothing Thane doesn't tell us anyway), but it was still worth it to make an article on her considering how she is such a substantial part of Thane's backstory.

Right now the article is a simple one-liner. If you guys can expand it, that would be very appreciated. I will try and collect the necessary info about Irikah and figure out how to put it all together to fit in the article myself, but any help is always appreciated. I did my best to expand it from the conversations with Thane, maybe it could use some rewording, but I still don't know if it will be enough. However I didn't add the merge tag because I think that will be left for others to decide. Personally I think it may be enough, but I'm not sure so I'll let others decide. Wow, Lancer! That's amazing! Thank you so much for expanding the article!

And I think it's enough at this point. We do have far smaller articles anyway. I hope Spart gets here soon and give us his opinion.

Thanks a lot! Fiery Phoenix 13:37, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

No problem, but Spart seems to log in between 5 or 6 hours from now so we'll just have to wait and see. Lancer1289

Question Edit

Now that we have an article about Irikah. Is she worthy of being regarded as a notable drell? If so, I can edit the drell page and add her name, otherwise I'll keep everything as is. Fiery Phoenix 11:53, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

I think she has to be mentioned as a notable drell. After all she is one of the 4 drells that we know. SoulRipper 11:55, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that would be my opinion as well, Soul. We still need to hear from Lancer and/or Spart, though. Fiery Phoenix 12:14, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well I can give you both actually. Spart already gave his opinion on this matter a while ago on the Talk:Drell page, and I'd have to agree. Irikah is only notable because we know her name, like Sarah Williams. You can read Spart's full comment there, but I'd have to agree, currently she isn't notable because all we know is really her name. Maybe Spart's opinion will change, but when put next to Thane, Kolya, and Feron, is Irikah notable? Not compared to her husband, son, and Liara's friend. Lancer1289 12:36, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
Well, if you put it like that...SoulRipper 12:42, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, that sums it up, Lancer. Should've looked there first. Fiery Phoenix 13:05, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Eyes meeting Edit

Isn't it a bit inaccurate to say that 'their eyes meet through the scope'? If you think about it, it's kind of impossible, since 'meeting' signifies eye-contact. Thane certainly sees her 'defiant' eyes when looking through the scope, just like he says, no? Elseweyr (talk) 13:26, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

I agree that it needs to be rewritten. I think whoever wrote it wanted to make her the actor in the sentence (since it's her article), but it doesn't make sense that way. Trandra (talk) 21:57, June 27, 2013 (UTC)
I thought she was the goddess Arashu. She met my eyes through the scope, and my purpose faltered. -thane's exact words. article's fine as it is. Ah, well, then it is accurate, even if it wouldn't really be possible. Elseweyr (talk) 07:33, June 28, 2013 (UTC)
