Not necessarily. The planet is tidally-locked to its star. According to Wikipedia, that would mean that it takes the same amount of time for the planet to rotate around its own axis as it does to revolve around the star. Or maybe I misread that. -- Gnostic 03:21, July 30, 2011 (UTC)
If you want to see a tidal lock - go look at night sky. ;) Luna needs ~28 days to revolve around the Terra, and exactly same ~28 days to rotate around its axis. Hence we see only one side of it. Always. --VagabonD SerpenT 15:26, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
