Sorry about the sub-par page I put up initially. Haven't really had much experience adding pages, let alone a new game page! I figured that further people would flesh it out and add proper tags that I didn't know how to add. Just a quick question: how do we add this to the drop-down menu for the Mass Effect Series on the main page?Der Schreiber 21:02, February 7, 2012 (UTC)

No it's fine. Good job, and very fast!
These things tend to start pretty sloppily anyway, eventually they grow up into mature articles. JakePT 21:21, February 7, 2012 (UTC)

Picture Edit

Picture

What is wrong with the picture that I put up? It's in the corner of the 3 in game images they have released for the game. It looks like it is going to be the "cover" of the game. Der Schreiber 03:03, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

I could see the pixals in the image. It's grainy and low quality. Lancer1289 03:04, February 8, 2012 (UTC)
Best picture that's available at the moment. I've also uploaded a full size in-game image. Shouldn't we be using what is available if nothing else is available? Der Schreiber 03:07, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Mass Effect 3 Edit

So, what effect will this have on ME3, like will it only unlock weapons or does it unlock other things like conversations.--Legionwrex 04:27, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

At present, we only know what's in the article. -- Commdor (Talk) 04:29, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that it says that it awards Singleplayer weapons in the articles, have we confirmed whether that is true or not be another source, because the source article doesn't specify where the weapons get awarded

See Commdor's previous comment. Lancer1289 04:50, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Platform Edit

Apparently they plan on releasing this for Android "eventually" [1] --Jwgray1985 22:11, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Added. Lancer1289 23:10, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Release Date Edit

Is this 'around the time' of Mass Effect 3 the only hint to a date we have? Seems a bit odd considering this and Mass Effect: Datapad should be both coming out tomorrow essentially and there's been a significant lack of information regarding it. Darthmarticus 17:09, March 5, 2012 (UTC)

I think the App Store updates on Thursdays, so that's probably when Infiltrator and Datapad will appear. -- Commdor (Talk) 17:31, March 5, 2012 (UTC)
If they appear. They may not release for several weeks yet though. Lancer1289 18:52, March 5, 2012 (UTC)
Just fyi, the release date in the article is inaccurate. It says February 29th, it was actually released on March 6th in the US. Category: Games, Releasd: Mar. 06, 2012 --Go Bruins! 12:23, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

Available Now Edit

SOURCE:App store on my iPod Touch. $6.99--AdmiralPedro1stFleet 06:29, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

Australian dollars? Edit

Is the figure quoted for the Australian app store in Australian dollars (in which case it should say so) or is it more expensive in Australia in the US? DarwinSighs 19:42, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

Not 100% sure what you're asking but when I was looking for it I found it for $8.99 in the Aussie App Store (I live in the US); it is $6.99 in the US store here. You can't buy it in the US from the Australian App Store because you need a valid billing address in the country you wish to purchase from. --Go Bruins! 19:51, March 6, 2012 (UTC)
It's in Australian dollars, no reason for it not to be in the local currency. Costs $7.49 when buying from iTunes in Australia. All app pricing has a US-Australian analogue. All $6.99 US apps cost $7.49 Australian for example.JakePT 13:51, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

Unlocks as result of beating game. Edit

Does anyone have idea which weapon is unlocked as a war asset when you finish the game? I have my heightened readiness rating as a result of finishing the game plus ceberus escapees as an asset but I understood you got an extra weapon. Cheers Adam

Cerberus Escapees War Asset confirmed. No new weapon from what I can tell. Just for fun I tried to see if fully upgrading a weapon would do anything and to no avail. But the Cerberus Escapees war asset is definitely a reward for completing this game. Other than that. Nada--AdmiralPedro1stFleet 05:30, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

http://www.gamespot.com/mass-effect-infiltrator/videos/mass-effect-infiltrator-interview-with-jarrad-trudgen-6364875/ Proof that the info on weapon unlocks in Mass Effect 3 is inaccurate --AdmiralPedro1stFleet 05:59, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

LV426 Edit

Anyone who has this game, go to activate the comm relay and the volus will tell you to meet the Alliance on LV426, a nearby desert planet. Whether or not you want an article on it is your call--AdmiralPedro1stFleet 21:16, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

LV246 is the name of the planet from the movie Aliens. Its a reference. Also while playing if you have subtitles on you can hear Cerberus agents talking, their names are Bigs and Wedge. For those who don't know, Bigs and Wedge are X-Wing pilots from Star Wars. --Squireyoung 19:32, March 27, 2012 (UTC)

3 Star Edit

Even if you beat every mission with 3 star score, you earn nothing. --Squireyoung 19:30, March 27, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for that information, I'd have tried if this game wasn't so repetitive. --ShardofTruth 20:31, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

They changed it, you earn a Cerberus Escapee for beating the game, and then another for getting 3 stars on every mission. That's 2/3, however the new bonus Turian Mission is impossible to get 3 stars on every checkpoint because you cannot upgrade your weapons or powers. --Squireyoung 03:09, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

Price Change Edit

It seems as though the pricing for the game has gone down from $6.99 to $4.99 on the App Store. Whether this is a sale or the price has been reduced I am not sure. Can someone confirm if the price has gone down on the other regions? --Mazekial (talk) 23:07, November 16, 2012 (UTC)

list o' bugs Edit

so i got myself a cheapass huawei tablet running android ICS 4.0.3, got it rendering beautiful scenarios and all, the problem is i'm only seeing the environment and randall's weapons - but no randall. further down the map i can only see the enemies' floating weapons as well.

that's right, the character models are invisible for some reason.

light googling tells me that for every two dozen or so players having no problems with their game (or having unrelated troubles), there's the odd one reporting this similar issue. as i understand it, tech support is pretty limited for this. running ME:I version 1.0.39, though i've seen reports of this particular issue cropping up in previous builds.

anyway, tldr post your bug problems and if we can get 3 others confirming your story then maybe it can go in the article. Windows Phone 8 Intel Edit

I have the game on windows phone. I don't have a button to upload intel for readiness (only credits) and I've beaten the game but have not have gotten any war assets in my mass effect 3 game. My origin account is connected to my xbox live account. I was wondering if someone could confirm that the windows phone version has no effect on war assets or readiness. If so, I would suggest adding this to the article.

Confirm download size for Android devicesEdit

While editing the "Details" section, I just noticed that "Download size" for Android devices is said to be 16MB. Can anyone confirm this? The other three smartphone OSs need to download over 450MB of data. The only way I can see this being possible is if the app downloaded from Google Play then downloads the additional data it needs after initially starting it. -XJDHDR (talk) 19:00, April 12, 2014 (UTC)

Gone. Edit

The article hasn't been updated like the ME3 Datapad page has, to state that the game was removed from IOS and Google Play in 2015. Which is sad as there's no way to get the War Assets from that game any more. --Pauldarklord (talk) 09:42, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

Well, with all DLCs installed, it's actually now quite possible to reach the required score to get all three endings.  [ pepoluan talk ] 17:46, April 9, 2018 (UTC)
