Aethyta on Shepard's romance with LiaraEdit
Hi all, some ways back I made an edit correcting the statements on Aethyta's reference to Shepard's romance or lack thereof with Liara. For whatever reason, though, it was reverted. Can anyone tell why?
I've recently replayed a game, and I still maintain that even if Shepard is not in a romance with Liara, Aethyta will still refer to the Commander as a "boyfriend/girlfriend" if the relationship between Shepard and Liara is anything but minimal, and will only refer to Shepard as a commander if Shepard has been particularly cold (i.e., using nearly-exclusively Renegade dialog) with Liara. Similarly, Shepard will still refer to Liara as "my girl" in the Renegade interrupt in that conversation, regardless of whether or not the Commander is in a romance with Liara.
Likewise, the reference to sexual tension between Shepard and an unromanced Liara will be there unless Shepard is near-exclusively Renegade towards Liara, in which case Aethyta will instead note that Liara is still single.
EDIT: It seems that this topic has already been gone into in the talk archive. Why was the reversion done then?

- I don't feel strongly for the rest of the edit, but the article says If Shepard is romancing Liara, they add "nobody messes with [my] girl", which does happen even if Liara is not romanced and the article should be adjusted accordingly. Elseweyr (talk) 07:20, October 12, 2013 (UTC)
Aetheya is male-ish Edit
- Whether or not they have "girly" or "womanly" personalities and other traits is utterly irrelevant in the question of their gender. See the numerous discussions about this topic on Talk:Asari/Archive1, for example. Elseweyr [ talk | stalk ] February 3, 2014, 11:27:33 (UTC)
Aethyta not at Apollo's Cafe Edit
After Priority: Palaven, I went to the Citadel to start acquiring the various missions and random war assets. However, after speaking with Liara at Apollo's Cafe (Presidium Commons), Aethyta, the asari matriarch-bartender from ME2 was no where to be found. I went through the archived talk page and found out how to get her to appear. The 8th section down in the archive states to leave (via the elevator) and come back to the Commons. This worked for at least 3 people: the original post, an additional player on the archive, and myself. I'm not putting it on the main page, as I'm not clear on requirements or which section is correct. Or if it belongs there, or somewhere else, or not at all. Thought I'd mention it though. metalheadHippie "It is not when or where men are born, but what they do that makes them brothers." (talk) 06:42, June 25, 2014 (UTC)
Skin color Edit
One of the ME2 DLCs fixes Aethyta's skin color -- in my first playthrough, her skin was the blue it's pictured as in the article's image, but I recently downloaded all DLC and am doing a complete playthrough, and now her skin is the purple it is in ME3. Does anyone know which of the DLCs fixed this, and if so, I believe this should be added into the article, since the purple is her "canon" skin color! Personally, I'm glad Bioware fixed the error. 18.104.22.168 21:47, July 26, 2014 (UTC)jx
- no ME2 DLC does this. you either have thirdparty mods, a weird lighting scheme on your display, or a subjective view instead. source an official statement before attempting to make an edit of this nature again please.
