Wouldn't the ME2 Galactic News announcement be evidence of another import bug? I'm not code-savvy enough to check the actual files, but it seems to me like this is supposed to refer to the Xeltan's Complaint assignment, with the currently playing file reserved for when the assignment hasn't been completed. Again, I'm not sure, but this just seemed strange to me. 82.95.227.251 21:59, April 12, 2010 (UTC)

I think it is appropriate to add the comments you can hear on Omega from the Alliance news network about Sha'ira supposedly leaving the Citadel after years of bad press. I'm also willing to speculate that said report should only be happening if the player did not do the elcor quest in ME1. Ingehira 07:12, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah the problem with that is it is covered more appropriately elsewhere and it is unknown if it is related to the import bugs as more than a few have cropped up. Even if it is said with or without it, that has to be noted, but then again it is noted more appropriately elsewhere. However I should tell you that speculation or personal opinions aren't allowed in articles and it is the Galctic News Network, not that Alliance news network. Lancer1289 07:19, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Is there a policy against putting all references to a minor character? How is the GNN reference on Omega less important/worthy than the comment by the crew members on the Normandy? Ingehira 07:28, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Let's see, we don't know if it is subject to a bug, we don't know if it always appears, it wasn't worded properly given the situation, and a few other issues. Lancer1289 07:35, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Still puzzled. I know the non-bug GNN audio clip (about Sha'ira leaving the Citadel) on Omega appears regularly. Hell, I just heard it a few minutes ago on my recent runthrough. If I correct the language, is it an appropriate reference? If so, seriously, why not? I don't want to keep screwing up. Ingehira 07:43, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
I really don't see what is so puzzling. There is also another problem, it was referenced in an inappropriate place. Given the information we have, it should, if anywhere, be noted in the trivia section, not in the Mass Effect 2 section. Either way, I would like to see it here first before it goes into the article. And really there is no need for that language here. We don't need inappropriate words. Lancer1289 07:51, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
