Halo: Reach Target Locator[]

For Those that also play Halo: Reach, doesn't this thing work exactly like the Target Designator.

Similarity's:

  • Handheld Laser pointer that directs a shrinking circle in Game play
  • Calls and Directs a Orbital Bombardment

Here's the Halo Wiki link to read up on it. [1]

It just be nice to see it in the Trivia --Stabber ApSig 04:08, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

As I know Lancer is going to point out, this is coincidental unless you can find a source to the contrary.--Supercavitation 04:53, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

The Target Designator is similar to the Target Locater, which in turn is immensely similar to the Hammer of Dawn, which in turn is similar to every single orbital bombardment in science fiction ever. The idea of a handheld targeting solution for an orbital laser/railgun/fleet/whatever isn't exactly unique. If anything, it's indicative of Mass Effect's wider theme of paying homage to classic science fiction. The Malignancy 16:54, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Is it me or is this weapon the same as Geth Combat Software?

No. Look at the images. Mr. Mittens 18:36, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
This is not the point of talk pages. Lancer1289 18:53, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
They do looks alike. I just had to confirm this before adding contents to pages. Since this one's based on geth tech, I highly doubt there's none connections between those weapons. How about mentioning at Trivia section then? Worth a look, really. --Acellutor (talk) 15:43, October 17, 2012 (UTC)
See my previous comment. Lancer1289 (talk) 15:44, October 17, 2012 (UTC)
To tell in most respectfully way, yes I did way before that. I never said they were one. I just had to say they were alike, a damn lot. I do understand there's nothing similar in the way both are operated. If those were, like, yahg and hanar engineered, I wouldn't have to say a thing. Should mentioning that they looks a damn lot like hurts? If this talk is related to the article itself, how could it be redundant? I appreciated that you've read my talks anyway. Shouldn't bother you anymore, keep up the good editing work! --Acellutor (talk) 08:56, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
And stop breaking not only one site policy, but two now. There is not the piont of a talk page so stop commenting. Lancer1289 (talk) 12:44, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
