No need to return to Simon for XP gain[]

On the page it states that The assignment will update as "completed" once the 3rd engineer is found but the player must report back to Atwell to receive the XP reward. however, at least on Legendary version, the mission was marked as complete on finding the last body and XP given. Returning to Simon provides a small amount of dialogue but no further XP gain. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lunamoonraker (talk · contr).

Can confirm in LE that it's not necessary to return to Atwell to finish the assignment or gain the XP award. Neo89515 (talk) 02:47, 16 July 2022 (UTC)

Actually, scratch the above--this may need further investigation. I also can't test in OT because I don't own the DLC for it. Neo89515 (talk) 00:56, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

In reality, what's going on here is that there IS NO XP reward for this mission, at least in LE. I have tried completing this assignment in a number of ways and orders, no XP was ever rewarded for either finding the engineers or returning to Simon to report their status.
