The Thokin is an assault rifle in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Description

The kett Thokin, translated to "sudden death", fires tracking-enabled, plasma-surrounded rounds. The tracking effect-enabled by magnetic field adjustors in the projectiles-is slight but useful, particularly given the Thokin's low ammunition capacity. With such a weapon, accuracy is everything.

Features

Singleplayer Thokin Rank VII uses Iron for development while Ranks I - VI and VIII - X use Silicon.

The multiplayer Thokin gained repeated improvements to clip size and max ammo. Its reload time also repeatedly decreased from over 1.75 seconds to 1.4 seconds.

Strategies

• The Thokin is a cheap but serviceable assault rifle that can be carried by any class without going overweight. It's good for short to mid range, though accuracy suffers over longer ranges.
