Tali's UD Edit

Hey! Since you've been updating Tali's UD page, could you also transcribe some of her spontaneous lines that she shouts out while summoning Chiktikka? If I'm not mistaken, she even refers to the drone as a "good girl", which is certainly quite unique. --kiadony 15:51, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Sure. The one you're referring to is "Go get 'em Chiktikka! Good girl!". Tali's no.1 fan 16:00, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Your user image... Edit

Well I... have seen you around before and I couldn't help but notice the image you use as an avatar, well it's a little blurry, and I just happened to be doing Zaeed's loyalty (with Tali of course) and I ran into the chance of getting a screenshot. Thought you might want an update...

Well... she's wearing the Carniflex and the Geth Plasma Shotgun, and most of all, her alternate appareance of the Appareance Pack 2, thought you might like it: here you go. Hope it helps you... somehow... IDK XD -- 00:46, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, this gallery has quite a lot of Tali by a waterfall screenshots :P --kiadony 07:22, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Funny quote from Jack in Dossier: The Justicar Edit

The other day I had Jack with me on that mission. Anyway, when I encountered the crazy biotic volus (I forgot his name) just before the final fight I used renegade dialogue options, well the last options are take rest (paragon) or charge (renegade). After I chose charge, Jack replied with "That was mean, but was damn funny". I thought that line was quite funny for some reason. I didn't see that quote in her section on your profile. I just thought you would like to know about it.

CheersSer Derek of Highever 00:04, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

Well, you can never have too many quotes, so I'll add that one. Thanks for suggesting it. Tali's no.1 fan 13:42, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

I'm Back! Edit

Yes, after nearly a whole year, "Tali's no. 1 fan" has returned! My last edit was in September 2011 and I see many new editors have joined since then. Well, good to meet you.

A lot has happened to me since last logging on; I'm not gonna give some cock-and-bull tale about venturing across the Amazon; I simply lost interest in the wiki. I've been studying for my A2s, but now there's only one exam left and I feel I'll soon have more time again.

Besides studying, since I last logged on, I've discovered the best band ever: a popular Korean girl group called So Nyuh Shi Dae (SNSD). "Girls' Generation" in English. Look them up if you haven't heard of them! They're incredibly Down-To-Earth and funny, as well as being very successful and talented (and beautiful).

I've also seen three of the greatest movies of recent times (in my opinion): Ip Man, Ip Man 2 and New Police Story, and finally formally taken up Kung Fu after studying it individually for basically my whole life. I've also learned how to play a 32 note section of Chopin's Ballade No. 1 off by heart.

And finally, I've restarted my hobby of writing, making my stories bigger and better than ever. I've still got a lot of work left, of course.

I also haven't yet achieved my ME2 goal of a playthrough with each class: one and a half playthroughs to go yet!

I'm inserting this on my own Talk Page as I don't think it really belongs on a blog, and this way it can be a sort of milestone in my life. If any of you old editors who remember me want to welcome me back, e.g. Sparthawg, H-Man, Kiadony, dare I say Lancer, feel free! Tali's no.1 fan 16:13, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

I can't help but notice I'm not considered an old user. Welcome back!--Legionwrex 17:05, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

Ah! Well, apologies and thank you! Tali's no.1 fan 17:29, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

What I'm Talking About Edit

You know full well that three users are required to confirm bugs, yet you keep advocating to violate it. You violated it on Javik's page when you got only one response, yet you considered it enough, when it wasn't.

I also find your conduct rude on talk pages both now and in the past rude in the regard to you persistently spam them for responses. That I find incredibly rude because you keep saying that you keep getting ignored. You apparently have never considered that no one else comes across anything you do or has nothing to say on the subject for whatever reason. You have done this in the past, and continued to do so. Sometimes there is just nothing to say, other times, no one else comes across what you do, therefore they have no comment. Or they come across the completely opposite. These are things that you don't seem to consider. One clear example of this is Talk:Javik. Other examples: Talk:Arrival, Talk:AI Hacking, Talk:M-22 Eviscerator, Talk:Combat Drone, Talk:Warp Ammo, Talk:Incinerate, Talk:Flashbang Grenade, Talk:Quarian, Talk:Energy Drain. You consider my conduct rude when I inform you of what is needed to get something into an article and inform you of what you have done in the past, yet you don't consider that rude? Spamming talk pages? I full well know that you might just delete this, but this needed to be pointed out. Lancer1289 (talk) 17:35, August 24, 2012 (UTC)

How you can consider my attempts to get responses on talk pages as rude, I cannot fathom. In virtually all of your examples my "spamming" was merely efforts to raise notice of the discussion in case it hadn't been noticed and I believe on some occasions I was successful. If no one comments in response to one of my discussions, how am I to know if anyone has seen it?! Frankly, I would consider it either rude or lazy of one to completely ignore someone's posts on a talk page, especially when they ask responses repeatedly. At the very least, one could reply to say "I'm sorry; I cannot comment on that matter". Otherwise, I have no way of knowing whether I am being ignored or whether anyone has noticed me and am likely to keep trying to get responses as that is the kind of person I am. If I ask a question, I want an answer. To keep asking is not rude. To keep ignoring is.
Now, moving on, I also find it hypocritical of you, one who often asks others not to "put words in their mouth", to act like you know what goes through my mind. In the case of the Javik bug, it had slipped my mind that 3 users were required to confirm such bugs; only after Trandra commented did I remember this rule. I do not spend huge amounts of time on this wiki every day and though my memory is good I am not a drell, so you cannot expect me to perfectly recall the rules in every instance and if you were to remind me of rules using a more polite form of writing than you are renowned for I might not take so much offence to you. And I am not going to delete your post as it serves to allow me to say all of what I've said already and all of what's to come. I would also find it annoying if I, myself, were to put in the effort of writing a big post like you did, only for the recipient to delete it.
I would like to end this by pointing out how I cannot believe that such petty matters as asking questions about or suggesting additions to informative articles for a video game of all things have resulted in this kind of conversation. Now that I have explained the reasons behind the actions that you have considered rude, why don't we just put the past behind us and start anew? Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 19:20, August 24, 2012 (UTC)

Edit Warring Edit

You are now edit warring over the Virmire: Assisting Kirrahe's Team page. This is even despite the fact there is an ongoing conversation about it. You know better than to do this and you keep doing it anyway. Any further instances will result in action. Lancer1289 (talk) 21:01, February 4, 2013 (UTC)

You said you would not discuss the matter further without giving a convincing reason for keeping the information I removed. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 21:05, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
And yet two people see no harm in it. So it stays. Like every other time. And you have yet to give a valid reason for removal apart from an opinion. Lancer1289 (talk) 21:05, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
My reason was it was "irrelevant babble" and a joke, whereas yours was it was "accurate". I did not understand why it was needed in the article. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 21:11, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
Because it IS accurate. Anything will knock that thing off the roof. There is no harm in a little humor. Lancer1289 (talk) 21:13, February 4, 2013 (UTC)

My apologies. I have a poor sense of humour; when I first saw the joke, I just thought it shouldn't have been there, like it was some bit of vandalism which had gone unnoticed. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 21:17, February 4, 2013 (UTC)

Email Edit

Hello. Since you have your email preferences turned off, could you please email me using this tool at your earliest convenience? There is a private matter I would like to discuss with you. -- Commdor (Talk) 00:38, February 27, 2013 (UTC)

Husks Edit

So I noticed in your complaints about ME3 that you were talking about there being no Yahg/Elcor husks. Well with the elcor, their bodies weren't useful enough in the first place to make any useful husks. Same goes for the salarians. The Yahg weren't harvested because their technology was equal to 20th century Earth standards so the Reapers considered them not advanced enough to harvest.

--Dtailz (talk) 00:54, March 12, 2013 (UTC)Dtailz

Why are elcor not useful? It's stated in-game that they can shrug off huge amounts of small-arms fire and that their warriors carry mounted heavy weapons in battle.

Suppose the salarians wouldn't be that useful either, but it'd still be nice to have a little bit better variety of troops, both for the Reapers, and for us players to shoot at. :) And after all, if ordinary salarians can fight fairly competently, the Reapers should surely be able to enhance them into more capable husks, the same way Banshees are absurdly tougher than a regular asari.

About the yahg: again, I would've just liked a better variety of enemies in the game and since you fought a yahg in ME2, I was eager to fight huskified versions in ME3. I appreciate that the Reapers are explained in-game to not be bothering to harvest them, but frankly I just think they should be making troops out of everything.

I think the Brutes were originally meant to be part elcor or yahg. More likely the latter, in fact, given their body size and structure. But, for whatever reason, Bioware decided to change their description late in production and we end up with krogan/turian husks, which I find very silly for reasons stated under that section of my user page. Thanks for discussing. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 15:51, March 12, 2013 (UTC)

New Patch Edits Edit

Thanks for verifying those reverts I made about the new patch. I could not find the new patch with a quick Google search, and the guy who edited the pages had only 10 edits, so I assumed it was vandalism. Thanks for verifying! ShermTank7272 (talk) 02:03, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

No problem. I'm not sure if it is a "new patch" per se, but I was eager to check the powers in game myself. It didn't seem like the kind of edit someone would make to cause trouble. Don't assume bad faith just because the guy had few edits; we all have to start somewhere. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 11:36, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

Geth Plasma Shotgun Edit

This reference to MEI have precedent : see. M-96 Mattock, M-22 Eviscerator and M-29 Incisor. Thoughts ? --DeldiRe 09:27, April 17, 2013 (UTC)

For the Mattock and Incisor it's fine, as there are slight differences in the versions being used in the two games. But for the Eviscerator and Geth Shotgun, you're just saying the weapon is featured in the game and used by whoever, which doesn't really need to be pointed out. If you did, you would have to note on all the weapon pages which enemies also use the weapon, too. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 09:54, April 17, 2013 (UTC)
It is specific for each of the weapons because they use a heat mechanism (at least for M-22 Incisor). But as you said, it is maybe not needed for the geth plasma shotgun. Thoughts ? should we add that every of those weapons have heat mechanism (unlike their ME3 version) --DeldiRe 12:11, April 17, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, I guess that's alright. I didn't know the guns use a heat mechanic in Infiltrator. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 09:30, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

Good to see you Edit

Ah it's good to see you back, we needed more chat mod to enforce the new policy that passed (Forum:Loosen restrictions in the Chat).

--DeldiRe (talk) 10:10, August 26, 2013 (UTC)

You ruined all Edit

By writting response to my message to Tempo, you ruined everything. I lost whole his trust. I know you had good intentions, but it ended badly.FirstDrellSpectre (talk) 12:45, February 8, 2014 (UTC)

I'm very sorry. Tali's no.1 fan (talk) 10:10, February 8, 2014 (UTC)

deprecated chatmod rights Edit

since you are one of 3 guys who only have mod powers on the now defunct chatroom of this wiki, i'm obligated to notify you that, yep, special:chat is gone and you shall have the nametag and blue-violet name no longer.

this wiki now uses discord ( apparently since people wanted one. if you want mod powers there, you can post so on my talkpage and perhaps the nametag and usercolor can be repurposed. . .
