Victory is a Prothean VI seen on Eden Prime. Its avatar has the appearance of a regular Prothean (albeit with a green glow and occasionally flickering), standing as tall as an actual Prothean and wearing the same armor as Prothean soldiers. It is capable of teleportation as well as walking.

With defeat at the hands of the Reapers seemingly inevitable, Prothean survivors have gathered at a facility on Eden Prime. It is here that the survivors hope to enter cryogenic stasis, emerging after the Reapers have reentered Dark Space to rebuild the Prothean Empire. Victory acts as an overseer of sorts for the facility, working in tandem with the facility's military commander, Javik.

With Reaper forces closing in on the facility, Javik instructs Victory to broadcast the readiness signal to all lifepods. Victory reminds Javik of the refugees who have yet to reach the bunker, which Javik dismisses as a necessary sacrifice. As Javik and others fight to seal off the base, Victory informs Javik that Reaper forces have destroyed approximately 300,000 lifepods, a third of the Protheans. Victory later notifies Javik that the northside bulkhead cannot be sealed.

As the situation becomes even more dire, Victory orders Javik into his stasis pod and sets off the neutron bombardment. The blast damages the base's sensors and making it impossible for automatic reawakening. This means that the remaining Protheans can only be reawakened manually when a new culture discovers the facility, which may result in a shortage of power to the stasis pods. Over Javik's protests to not shut down any pods, Victory says it will triage the base's power supply appropriately. As Javik is the only known Prothean survivor, it would appear that Victory was eventually forced to cut power to all pods except for Javik's.

Victory's ultimate fate is unclear. When Commander Shepard travels to Eden Prime 50,000 years later to recover a Prothean artifact, Victory is neither seen nor heard from. Javik makes no mention of the VI when he is reawakened by Shepard's squad. There is also no indication that Victory was captured by Cerberus, who was also seeking to recover the artifact.

Trivia

  • The other known Prothean VIs, Vigil and Vendetta, were created using personality imprints from actual Protheans. It is unknown if this is the case with Victory and if so, from whose personality imprints it is based.
